  • Thanks buddy! Yours was the video that really got my attention on coconut oil. I have noticed some positive changes - better metabolism and such, just getting started. Very enthusiastic to see what happens in the long term. A million thanks!!!!!

  • I found that coconut oil does stop brain fog. Remember the Zone diet....of which I and others were on.? He talked about oil or fat in the even. before bed i.e. for this very thing. People have discovered it but didn't know why it work. The brain needs a good source of oil to funtion properly. Their other evidences in the RUBIN sp boy who had to have so much was it olive oil or some consentrated oil to come back from his awful illness. Oil in the diet aid heart and colestriol funtioning too.

  • Hi, Thank you for your testimony to Coconut Oil. I went out and bought some and started using it. I find that it answers many questions I had relating to good fat versus bad as well as the many benefits. Many blessings to you and your family.

  • I have been using it as a personal lube w/my bf. We love it. His skin has gotten a lot better as we massage with it. Hmmmmm

  • @bigdanbear hahahaha awesome

  • here is the link to a good video on using coconut oil with an altzeimers' patient.

google "Coconut Oil Touted as Alzheimer's Remedy" sorry not sure how to post the link directly.

also, for anyone who has brain fog, consider gluten and grains with gluten as a cause if you are gluten intolerant autoimmine. try going on a completely gluten and grain free diet for a week or so, not the difference, then try eating grains, breads, gluten containing foods and see how you feel

  • How long after you stop taking it does the brain fog come back? Curious as to how long it's stored in the body and able to be used as brain fuel

  • good stuff thanks! PEACE & LOVE

  • Brainfog is a classic symptom of low thyroid- maybe you are experiencing this or something completely else. The medical establishment will just put such a person on meds but most can boost their thyroid function with natural foods and supplements. coconut oil being on of them.

  • you need to go and see a functional medicine practitioner and do some tests

  • thank you sir for you experience

  • Coconut oil also can help lose body fat. It is a mostly medium-chain saturated fat and so performs quite differently from saturated fats found or derived from animal sources. About 1-3 tablespoons of coconut oil, per day, can halt problems with constipation, both naturally occurring and constipation caused by opiates like morphine. Be sure to drink 2-3 litres of distilled water a day and add some fibre to your diet also. But many people suffering with pain also suffer with constipation- no more.

  • thanks for sharing your experience with the coconut oil , i'm 45 yrs old and i've been experiencing a lot of brain fog myself . ( which to say that had me concern , and not to mention that it's not a good feeling . ) i am so glad to come across your video , i will be trying this myself and hopefully it works for me like it has for you . : ) thanks again . God bless you and your loved ones .

  • which coconut oil do you use?

  • @kingcontent1 Google tropical traditions and check out their site.

  • This is an answered prayer. I asked God why am I getting so forgetful? Now I will try this advice. Thank you.

  • @Odettesharesherheart ...how did the coconut oil work for you??

  • i have to add, stress & over working is a culprit too. It might sound hokey pokey...but meditation can help w/ that. Or take time out & listen to relaxing music- close your eyes & forget about the world once in awhile.

  • Thanks for the info and the nice comment at the end :)

  • i have brain fog and i take a supplement called jigsaw brain support it seems to be working i'm having clear moments everyday. I might have to add some coconut oil to keep it going till my brain is clear

  • i wonder if the coconut oil has the essential fatty acids (OMEGA 3 - 6) they seem to be related to helping brain memory and adhd.

i recommend unrefined, because it is really flavorable. the refined seemed to lack the coconut taste.

  • @liferecharger thanks for sharing.

What dietary changes did you make, besides coconut oil?

  • great video, bought coconut oil two days ago and am trying it out 2 tabletop spoons daily

  • Are you taking statin drugs? Memory loss and brain fog are major side effects

  • I get serious brain fog when my crohns starts up again.

Coconut oil kills the fog or eating simple sugars that dont ferment like the scd diet it clears it in two days like Im on coffee too without the nervousness

Oatmeal is the worst for my brain fog.

Its some type of bacteria fungus virus something that ferments off of sugar.

lot of people call it candida but it could be tons of different bacterias too that have overgrown in the gut, its a nightmare for me if I eat the shit food.

  • Oh, boy, if you talk like this when you feel energetic, I wonder how you speak when you have your brain fog!

  • Agreed. I live in southern Philippines. Surrounded by coconut plantations. Indeed, feels like paradise, can have coconut any day. Young coconut meat great for snacks, juice/water soothes thirst too. Chew some matured coconut meats and use its juice for hair shampoo, skin moisturizer too. Coconut milk great for cooking with vegetables, fish, desserts, etc... When you visit the tropics snack on coconuts. The juice/water should taste sweet or not so sweet. If tasted sour throw it away.

  • Extra virgin, cold pressed, organic!

I started taking coconut oil when I heard about the weight loss benefits. Check. It works!

Very soon, I noticed an increased clarity. This is nothing that I read about before I tried it. I just wanted to verify that others were experiencing the same thing so I got on YouTube to look around. Thank you.

  • Sounds good, my memory has gone really bad, especially with names, will this oil help me, thank you.

  • Great video!! I am trying coconut oil myself....4 weeks so far. The main effect on me is that rooms feel warmer...I needed to reset thermostat in myhouse to 66 because 68 F was too warm...when I ride my bike I don't need a jacket. Ergo main effect thus far is a large increase in my BMR (basal metabolic rate)

  • Coconut oil is MEGA man, It's one of the superfoods that fuels my adventures!! I mean this stuff is so FRAKKING hyper testosterone boosting I'm about to RIP THE PLANET IN HALF!!! take it to em!!! take no prisoners!!! FRAK YES!!! limitless life smacking girls on the ass cause I like it.

  • @OrbitalHUB LMAO!

  • I am looking into this for myself and thousands of others who have had the misfortune of getting poisoned caused by fluoroquinolone Class Antibiotics, one of the most prominent issue with this is the cognitive deficiencies. Brain Fog is a constant topics amongst us. I have personally been experiencing Memory, Concentration problems to the point in which I cannot drive because I am mentally unable to due to extreme Brain Fog. I'm not sure if this will help such an extreme case but its worth a go

  • @GBelair Also Cilantro and Apple Cider Vinegar are meant to help, might make a salad that contains cilantro and use coconut oil and apple cider vinegar as a dressing ;)

  • @GBelair I took Minocin (a fluoroquinolone antibiotic) 20 years ago for acne. I was very allergic to it & had the worst itching in the palms of my hands & soles of my feet - an itch you could scratch all day & never relieve! It was awful. I can't remember timing on this, but I did develop SEVERE brain fog which I still suffer from to this day, though not as severe. I was diagnosed with narcolepsy 10 years ago (brain fog also comes with narcolepsy). Perhaps my narc. was triggered by the Minocin.

  • @GBelair Please look into iodine supplementation for the brain for. I take it every day and it is truly a God-send! I have tried several brands but the one that works best for me is i-Throid capsules by RLC Labs. It can be purchased at PureFormulas . c o m for around $15.90 for 90 capsules. I take 4 capsules per day (2 caps twice per day). Soon after I began taking the iodine, it's like someone turned on the lights! Everything became brighter & cloudy days literally felt sunny! Give it a try. :)

  • @oooDONNAooo I forgot to mention, I am in no way affiliated with the site I mentioned and make nothing off any sales. Just trying to help. :)

  • @oooDONNAooo i knew it... when it first happened back in May i went from drug store to drug store asking for it and they all said that they cannot sell it unless its been ordered by the government inc case of emergencies.... I'm in Canada see... thats what u get when ur poisoned usually which is what happened to me with that antibiotic, they sell u the poison but not the cure.

  • Coconut oil is awesome. I discovered it recently too. You might want to consider avoiding oatmeal, potatoes, bread, and rice etc. I have been avoiding all carbs especially sucrose and high fructose corn syrup as well as all partially hydrogenated vegetable oils and I feel and look great. I also lost about 25 lbs in the past 2 months. Thanks for the info. Fructose in sucrose and HFCS is very bad for you. Fats we need are omega 3 (and less so of omega 6) and this coconut oil. Eat it everyday

  • i've only taken 4 teaspoons daily ...either 1 or 2 with meals...lookup Alzheimer's coconut oil...this might just be a breakthrough

  • I read that coconut oil works for diabetes so i tried it my blood sugar went from 150 to 75 within a few minutes...I became super alert as well. I used half a jar of organic extra virgin coconut oil my sister left behind a few months ago. both my parents are diabetics but they take medications and i refuse to being newly diagnosed. This is exactly what i was searching for...plus brain fog disappearing even better. I even exercised a lot today...full of energy

  • Hi, great video!

How much and how long did u take coconut-oil ?

when i saw your video i saw my self! never heard about "brain fog" before.

  • Hi ,

I am from India . I am 35 and a s/w engg. I am suffering from brain fog for the past 5 years . I don't know whether I am really having a clinical brain fog or that I am demanding too much from me, being an average person . Few years back unwittingly I drank some cocoa drink and saw a huge difference in my brain performance . From then I keep cocoa powder with me at work and it helps a lot.

I will try the coconut oil stuff , in India coconut oil is damn cheap and cocoa is very expensive.

  • @HOTMONKEYGAME cocoa drink? what is that? coco powder? u mean chocolate ?

  • @HOTMONKEYGAME I a m33 and have 'brain fog' too but Ive always associated it w/ my thyroid problems which coconut oil is great for boosting thyroid function.. as is kelp(iodine),selenium. hope your symptoms are improving

  • @HOTMONKEYGAME I had the same thing. It turned out to be candida & leaky gut syndrome. I had it for years. Antibiotics, vaccinations, stress, lack of sleep & rest, overwork, mercury fillings, poor diet, compromised immune system, etc. are some of the causes of this. I'm finally getting over this & coconut oils helps, but it has to be raw.

  • @HOTMONKEYGAME Of course, cocoa is loaded with caffeine!

  • dude get off the couch lol!!!!

  • Thanks!

  • Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! God bless you!

  • Please check if you ever take antibiotic Levaqin, Avelox, Cipro, Floxin you can the brain fog and more simptoms from that. I have the problem 3 years.

  • Hmm I dont want my mind to be really buzzing like I have had too much coffee.

  • Thank you for this video!

  • no such thing as brain fog, you have just naturally gone insane.

  • @Terrorist12341 How is insanity natural???

  • i gotta get rid of this crap i got exams this year

  • After thyroidectomy and 20+ years in brain fog and taking synthroid, it lessened when I did a thorough heavy metals de-tox, started addressing parasites AND switched to T-100 glandulars. Also doing consciousness clearing work and addressing it as a mental phenomenon and that too completes the wholistic handling. Just started on coconut oil this month.

  • Thank you for sharing. I first heard about coconut oil from Jordan Rubin's book "the makers diet" It makes a delicious stir fry. I'm going to try taking as a supplement for a few weeks and see what happens.

  • so if he was to stop taking the coconut oil, would the brainfog come back?

  • THANK YOU FOR SHARING...... I LOVED LISTENING TO YOU.... THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW THAT I'M IMPORTANT.... SO ARE YOU. :0) LOVE and BLESSINGS TO YOU.

  • that was nice:)...., thank you!!!

  • may also have a yeast related problem guys.. candida may be a culprit too..

  • Hi, do you know how you sleep at night??

have a look,.. also at sleep-apnea-prevention . org

    maybe it will help too.

  • I add coconut oil to my tea so I don't have to taste it. It's making a huge difference in my energy levels as well.

  • I suffer really badly with brain fog. I've tried so many things - vitamins and minerals. It can be over-whelming at times, anybody who has had it will understand! I will try coconut oil. You're not the first person to reccomend it. Going to order some now :)

  • @SeanOBriain also try some liquid trace minerals, add to water a couple times a day..also no alcohol drinking, pot smoking, cigarette smoking..

  • @SeanOBriain any progress?

  • @pluckanalogy Well to be honest - The root cause of my brain fog is because of mercury toxicity. I can temporarily relieve it through having regular bowel movements (sometimes I need a colonic/home enema).. and a good varied intake of vitamins and minerals. I use organic coconut oil most days now to cook with. It's actually quite nice! Whether it offers relief for brain fog, it's hard for me to say at this point. But it certainly doesn't hurt.

  • @SeanOBriain Thanks for getting back. How did you get mercury toxicity and ho did youfind ot that was the case?

  • @SeanOBriain fyi stop drinking tap water if u are it's loaded with brain degenerating fluoride!

  • @SeanOBriain i suffer from bf, and recently tried a gluten and grain free diet, it seems to be helping. i am pretty sure i have gluten intolerence, i think that is a reaction by the immune system. other grains have gluten also, rice has the least. i am 52 and i was having bf so bad i thought it was altzeimers. i had to start seeking help from an MD/ND doctor.

  • Maybe you had some kind of yeast infection.

Which the coconut oil would've helped

  • how much are you suppose to consume?? and where can i get organic virgin coconut oil?? please reply!!

  • What all the symtoms of brain fog? I'm very forgetful and lose alot of things; at times , I have to think real hard about how to spell certain words (this never happened when I was younger) I think should put use the coconut oil I have sitting in my kitchen.

  • @1984IcameandIstayed Hi, do you know how you sleep at night??

have a look,.. also at sleep-apnea-prevention . org

    maybe it will help too.

  • so its not damaging to the heart of raise cholesterol?

  • This worked after suffering from severe brainfog i lost my personality and sense of self, it was almost like having no thoughts and poor memory i was just there off in my own world. lets just say everything felt like a dream. anyway i bought some virgin coconut oil and it has to be virgin or extra virgin or it wont work. so i bought it took it home and had some this started working instantly i started this yesterday and my mind keeps becoming more clear i can focus and my memories back check.

  • Krill oil is best for the brain...

  • some people say that dark chocolate is good on helping brain working faster,I drink hot chocolate many times a day and eat chocolate now, and I really noticed some difference, and its good to know about coconut oil too

  • well, 24 hours later, i bought a jar of virgin coconut oil.. reminds me when my mom would give me a spoonful of crisco. that heavy white grease in a can,, id run in the kitchen and say mom i am hungry, and she'd give me that. anyways, it doesnt taste too bad,, i cant see eating a couple spoonfuls right off the spoon,, on popcorn sounds good. also, what i did start doing was yoga and yogic breathing.. i feel better compared to last night, also, considering amalgam removal..

  • some help for me. i am 52, having terrible brain fog. i have been monitoring my blood sugar. doing yoga exercises to stimulate pancreas. at this point i am also just stress overloaded. i ordered a 4 panes cortisol test to see if i have too many cortisols. feels like i am stuck in fight or flight mode lately. how much coconut oil do you take? do you just take it in a spoon or what?

  • .I am back 100% coconut oil keeps my immune system going good.consume the unrefined virgin coconut oil-I am trying coconut oil pulling right now,.I am going to post another coconut oil video soon with the result of oil pulling adding that to my healthy regimen. usually low fat diets will cause memory sluggishness.Adding healthy fats to your diet will show amazing result, keep up the good work.

  • brain actively needs FATTY ACIDS to work properly, I made a video on coconut oil over a year ago, I am 52, my energy is amazing, I still have alot of weight to lose, but I stick to a low carb diet, coconut oil is my healthy fat that keeps me full. I went off the coconut oil for awhile and noticed my short term memory going, could not remember what day of the week it was

  • I'm with you on the brain fog and coconut oil thing, although in my case it's probably the cumulative impact of my daily dose of coconut oil, some dietary tweaks and exercise that did the trick. One of the things I did on the diet side was to cut out refined sugar - completely (my girlfriend thinks I'm nuts!). I went cold turkey and allowed my sugar monster to shrivel away and die. At 42 I'm in better shape physically and mentally than ever before, which I find pretty exciting!

  • coconut oil does detox the body of Aluminum..and as we know Aluminum does mess with our cognitive functions..also most recently a medical doctor has discovered that coconut oil does reverse the effects/symptoms of Alzheimer

  • I love that you shared this with everyone, Great Info~!

  • I'm 23 years old, healthy male... I add coconut to my morning protein and cacao smoothies and I definitely think that either the coconut or cocao (or both) help my mental performance... try cacao powder (raw chocolate) and cacao oil in addition to coconut oil, seriously! Have you tried eating cacao powder and cacao oil? It's supposed to help the brain too... when I combine cacao, coconut, nuts, fruit, krill oil, eggs, and oatmeal in the same meal, you get amazing mental and physical effects!!!

  • Great video. I'm sure i watched this at the beginning of the year but did nothing about it. My brain fog is unbearable now so I'm going to try and get my hands on some coconut oil and I'll post the results. Thanks

  • @dazz7400 Did you try the coconut oil? If so, what were your results?

  • Thank you for sharing. This can be used in your ears as well; if you are experiencing a hiss, ring, or any label that would describe a challenge with your hearing. As you may know, the brain is the reason/ region we are actually able to hear. I'm not advising as a Dr. either; just my 'intuitive' experiences. Afterall. the skin is our largest organ--and what we put on the skin goes directly into the blood stream...

  • awww i ilove the message @ the end! we love you too!

  • Hi everyone,

I just wanted to answer a question. I use Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. I look for value and I bought a gallon of it. Also more good news. About 3 months ago I went from almost a couch potato to jogging/hiking 25 miles a week. Good organic foods with good oils are giving me increased energy. I hope everyone is finding help for their symptoms. Bless you all.

  • @liferecharger Would you consider making a new video?

  • @liferecharger Thanks for you words and video. Ihave been suffering from Lyme for over 5 years and by far the worst of my symptoms are the chronic fatigue and the unrelenting 24/7 debillitating braing fog. It has also caused a progressive loss of vision and extreme blurriness. To say I am scared would be like saying the sun is kind of warm. I have used EVCO on occasion but never really with any regularity although it's it's all I cook with. I will try using it as you do and see what happens

  • @094340 In regards to lymes disease, I met a lady who swears that astragalus root put her lymes into remission. She was disabled and started taking astragalus root for toe fungus. She said a year went by and she noticed she hadn't had anymore lymes attacks. She eventually got off of disability and is back to work. She works at the local "vitamin shoppe"

  • @roblovegreen Thanks for the heads up although I have tried Astragalus before to no avail. Tha't the problem with Lyme....it's not a one size fits all disease. What works for one won't work for another. Hell of a crucible to fight through but fight I will. Thaks again.

  • @094340 u should try something called samento, but only under a doctor's supervision (naturopath, an md that practices integrative medicine, etc.) since it can have some side effects if u take too much. according to my doctor (an osteopathic physician who practicies integrative medicine), antibiotics(which he has tried) r ineffective on lyme disease. they may seem to help at 1st, but it just comes back. good luck.

  • thank you for sharing this info...i hope it can help me with my brain fog

  • @tealeh2 ok, it's one month now, how are you doing with your coconut oil?

  • @cloudsifter11 Well, I have bought this brand Nutiva, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. It tastes excellent. At first, I started only for cooking but then it tastes and smell so good that I replaced it as for butter. I mix it with honey, and take it in the morning almost 3-4 times a week for my breakfast. My brain fog has not changed; I don't think it is going to help with my brain fog. I believe it has other causes such as anemia, caffeine, and maybe hormonal changes I am in my early 40's.

  • That is my experience with coconut oil too. It really does seem to have an effect on my mental capabilities. I put in in my oatmeal too. It tastes great mixed with the milk:)

  • I was wondering what type of Coconut oil you used? I am using refined coconut oil and it's sort of solid and has no coconut fragrance.

  • @RockyBalboa211

Never use refined coconut oil. Only the unrefined virgin coconut oil. It should always have a coconut fragrance and melt at room temp.

  • good fish oil is good for that too i understand,,,coconut oil does wonders

  • I'm 4 months into using virgin coconut oil, and my brain fog has greatly improved. (It has also improved my digestion and food intolerances)

I ditched the fake fats (canola oil, peanut oils, rancid oils). These fake fats actually cause clog arteries, while the saturated fat in coconut oil does the opposite and body burns it easily.

Lot of great info on the web for virgin coconut oil. Great vid.
