I didn't go to church for many years, but I always had this song in my mind and heart. My mom made me a copy of it after my Dad passed away. It helps me get by to know that after all of the suffering, my dad did rise and is in heaven. What an AWESOME feeling!!!!!
ivan does a great job on this song, but Kirk Talley did a version of it back in 81 on the Cathedral album that is just amazing. I wish someone could find it and post it.
Dallas Holm wrote this song and his version is amazing as well. The message of the song is the thing to really listen to with our hearts and minds. We have a HOPE that nothing in this old world can take away from us. We live in frightening times but God is bigger and His will will be accomplished..

i start to cry everytime i hear this song i have lost a friend recently she passed away 3 days before her 14 birthday. and now I myself need prayer i had surgery on my elbow from a stupid mistake the ER guys said. i broke my arm and last wed. i had surgery. so now i have a half cast on.
