before the internet, used to spend hours and hours doing this, never managed such a level but this is great music, glad to be a listener now and to enjoy. It hs made my lunch hour more meaningful today, given me memories of times past and there is a feeling of greatness in the music. Thankyou
yes but everyone has their own thoughts as to what beethoven would have played it like right? i always thought he'd be aggressive.. but shes great though
OMG! from 5:32 sounds a LOT like the first Sequentia of Mozarts's REquiem in D! Obviously Beethoven too, had some influence of Mozart somehow, Im sure he thought he was a brilliant composer...

yes those triplets are indeed tricky, they dont call it the Tempest for nothing I'm glad that you slowed down for them because it is vital that you always control the tempo and not the other way around It should be driving but not pushing so I think that is the right way to go until you have it up to tempo I also think it lets you add more expression which is good However, you must have consitancy with the tempo which ever way you go Well done

those triplets sure are tricky :)
yeah, and as a result you lost a lot of tempo when you got into those measures. your rendition of this piece is overall really nice though. very clean, but dont forget to play whats written. you miss a lot of little staccatos or dynamic markings because of that. still, im not too fussy about those things. i enjoyed it. post more.
Hi again Rolf, and thanks for the comment - Natasha and her twin sister Marina are also composers - I have put a link to their site in all Natasha's Beethoven video descriptions. Here you can find out more about them and hear their music. Any comments gratefully received.

The interpretation is very good. The piano doesn't sound quite right though.

I have to say, Natasha and Gould have wisdom to the performance.
It is the freshness by the perfect interpretation which deviated from the common sense and the rule.
It got bored with many petty Beethoven's performance.
However, I think that her performance is so wonderful.

I agree Tatsu - she really should be doing professional recitals but she doesn't get involved in the business side - she needs an agent.
