I love shurikens but the only trubble is in battle you end up useing loads and there really expensive (at least £10 per shruiken ). If you had over a million shruikens it would be awsome!!

never did i think of using old saw blades for the metal. i can get those by bucket load at farm auctions. Gotta be a better way to cut pattern out than tin snips though. Blow torch then grind burs down perhaps?

@TheBsBrown well shakens aren't as easy to come by anymore. The stainless "carnie" ones aren't around at carnivals much anymore and many martial art supply places have stopped selling them. That's good for custom home made makers who want to sell them though I guess.

idk what kind of saw blade u were cutting but i have metal cutters just like those and i could barely make a nick in the saw blade i was using. (it put a nick in the cutters and made my arms hurt tho)

@roox20 Depends on how thin and what type of metal the blade was made out of, I use real shurikens made of steel, only about 1/16" thick and they never bend, had to sharpen though, got rid of the distance, but hey they still stick to corkboard.

Ok, I made one, first. They are REALLY hard to cut with tin snips and bolt cutters. So I got lazy and pulled out the zip disk. 10mins later I had a really lopsided one. Each tip was different leginth and thicknesses. But i'll be darned it throws amazingly well. I never miss and always get it to stick. THANKS!!!

I used the same method once to make a shuriken!

Had no luck with the clippers! so used a dremel cutting wheel instead and bench grinder to sharpen the edges,

@kirkp1000 with a shuriken, a point can be from an inch to several inches long, and it can stick in quite a bit into something, but with a saw blade, it'd barely cut into something because of all the points right next to each other and the fact that each point is less than an inch long. .____. you'd just scratch up some plywood instead of actually penetrating it.
