Great effects with the fan and lovely tie in with using the mobile phone to tell you about the Jack/Ianto scene and then using it to echo the mobile dropping to the ground in the episode!!

Adrift was without doubt the worst episode of Torchwood ever! from both series Adrift was the worst one it was so fucking boring and so fucked up and just weird but the previous episode From Out Of The Rain was my favourite episode that was just an amazing story.

Couldn't disagree more. It wasn't boring, just a bit slow and yes it was fucked up, whih is what makes it so amazing and original. I can't think of any other programme that has ended like this. The rift can still take people and the world is still a cruel place...just like real life

I'd actually say it was one of the best. Best Chibnall episode by far and better than From Out of the Rain, which I thought was pretty average.

Try to look past the lack of action and effects, and see the episode for what it really is. Adrift is an amazing tale about hope and loss, with characters one can actually care about for a change.

Adrift was fantastic. It wasn't boring, it was a good idea, and it was executed well.
