Funny you should mention Buffy, I just picked up the 7 series box set recently & am watching that through for the first time.

My wife doesn't read comics, but she went with me to the Baltimore Comic-con a couple years ago. She stood in line for me for sketches & autographs, hours on end, while I went to listen to panel discussions & such. I have an awesome wife!

Heheh. I've been trying to get my wife into comics for ages. She's into geek shows and TV and movies, but the comic thing is little tougher. She doesn't know who all the characters are and that sort of thing. I'm thinking I might get her to read Spidey. YOu have any suggestions of good stuff to get chicks you love into comic books? ;p

Batgirl by Chuck Dixon the first couple of trades. OR Birds of Prey all the way through the Gail Simone run. I'm workin on the lady with these right now. I'm even going to ease her into FRAY after the buffy and angel is done. Next step...comic con

Cool. Good luck. I took my wife to a nerd convention in Perth last year. She was pretty bored of the whole thing by the end of the day, but there were TV stars that made it bearable for her :p

good call on all the books chosen, Greenlantern- i think by the end of blackest night hal will have gone thru all the ring colours..maybe not a saphhire though lol. but i wonder what the guardians aka "Scar " is gonna take from him to make him go wolveriene berserker barrage... and CHYEAA black lanterns all day so i guess nowits official on martian manhunter but im a lil bit surprised by earth 2 superman since weve basically just had a version of him in JSA heres hopin for Sboy and impulse

I think that's a great idea as far as Hal going through all the spectrums that'd be cool.

Superboy would be a cool addition to the Black Rings, that'd be cool

My personal favorite events from Marvel are Civil War, Secret Invasion. Dark reighn for me I'm still a little sketchy on the idea on the fact Osborn has control of eveything but its intruiging. So who do think actually has a soul on the Dark Avengers me I think its Noh Varr.

Wolverine's son is Daken from the Wolverine Origins series which I don't read. Dark Avengers is just like Thunderbotls and I love thunderbolts. GL is fucking fantastic. Mighty Avengers was really good and its good to see a true avengers team back.

Wolverine's son seems like a silly idea to me. Although it should be interesting when the new avengers fight the dark avengers, interesting to see how Bendis handles that!!

Yeah totally, Joe Q has done a lot of cool stuff lately! it's just i think people are too happy to make a song about dance over anything bad he does, but not really acknowledge all the good decisions he's made.. which there have been more imo!
