  • AMAZING!

  • How long did this take to create?

  • nice

  • Looks amazingly!

  • /watch?v=lygOe1R5kDI&feature=feedu

  • How much time did it take for you to do this?

  • all that talent wasted on the king of emo faggotry. I would have liked it if you had drawn a double headed serpent, one head being george bush and the other osama bin ladin.

  • @mykebulvai because he should use artistic talent on political cartoons...

  • @mykebulvai did u call tim a faggot?

  • @mykebulvai King of emo faggotry?!!!!!!!!!!!??? wtf is your problem???!!!!!!!!

1st of all, the term fag is really not cool. It is very insulting. There is nothing wrong with homosexuality and you make it sound like a terrible thing. People have a right to their own happiness! 2nd of all, Tim Burton rocks! He is an amazing artist! His works are brilliant and he is the most genius director I've seen. And even if you disagree with that, how could you deny his talent? Its too obvious.

  • Tell me, did you use a computer mouse or a tablet to draw this? Either way, excellent! :D

  • CHE MERAVIGLIA! Tu sei un maestro, alieno.... un GENIO! Complimentoni...... Non ci sono altre parole!

  • It makes me so sad :/ It´amazing! Yes, it is, but I prefer traditional art, and I have to feel pencil in my hand, not computer mouse. (sorry for my bad english :)

  • @zuzanka3rozinka It's not a mouse, It's a table made for photoshop and it has a pencil ;)

  • this is good!!!!

  • you are very talented

  • I don't know about you guys but Tim Burton is my idol.

  • what is the music?

  • @lilplinky Sleepy Hollow sound track. :P

  • Once that background came in, I thought to myself, "photograph". I showed it to my sister and she didn't believe it was a drawing. I had to replay the video. Simply fantastic!

  • Awe-inspiring, not missing a trick wisely.

  • It's amazing... How long did you do that?

  • The lip it's self took me like 4 hours, it's definately the best drawing I've done.

  • Very good:)

  • This is beautiful >_>

  • Please Guys .. I Really wanna Start this Art & I'm Wondering if he Uses some kind of a Tactil Tablet Or Just the Usual Mouse [ I Mean, Can I Do it with the Regular Mouse ? ]

  • @MarvinPumpkin Tablet.

  • I know a 15 year old boy who's pretty good at drawing with pencil. I'd like to introduce him to using a graphics tablet and software. Any suggestions for him to get started? Affordable, cuz I'll be buying the gear and surprising him with it.

    Thanks

    Rob H.

  • tim burton's hair looks like it should have its own movie xD

  • @VictorVonFox It already did Edward Scissorshands.

  • hey nice work of art. What tablet do you use?

  • Watch me paint FAT CHICKS! :D

  • HA HA HA!!! at 0:29 he looks like an old version of Harry Potter... =D

  • I like how it ended in black...just right for burton.

  • Do you know any movie animations with tim burton style? please i need :/

  • @Growupie this is halloween

  • just Excellent

  • love the sleepy hollow soundtrack in the background. very cool it looks like an actual picture. nice

  • amazing...really!:)

  • wow , it is amazing :D

  • this is just absoluteley brilliant ! fantastic ! well done :) good job !

and it lookes extremeley difficult, and like it took a long time to do it.

  • Wow incredible

  • I wish they had played either the nightmare B4 Xmas or Batman...

  • OMG OMG!!!!

  • Excellent.

    Very clever

  • Bravo ;D

  • probably done with some sort of a stylus. i dont see how this can be done with a mouse

  • Two Thumbs up!!!

  • what song is this?

  • @ANTHMX from the sleepy hollow soundtrack....

  • im scared!

  • wow, you're pretty good. you did this all digitally? holy shiit

  • SIGH...he makes it look so easy -.- chances are I'm going to go try digital painting again, right now, and it's going to look like crap :P

    this is real art!

  • This is so much more than just "impressive."

  • like....!!!

  • Tim Burton is so cool. he even looks like he designed himself to fit his imagination. which is crazy. and cool.

  • brilliant,very well done!

  • @TheInbornMechanics Uuuugghhh............your comments make me want to wretch. No doubt your intentions are good ("I know, I'll tell everyone that this man is not a real artist because he is using the computer, and then they will respect me because really, who wouldn't? I am a 'trained painter') but to put it simply you are wrong.

  • @TheInbornMechanics Bah. You are very rude. The idea of putting quotation marks around the word artist. This man is a genius. If you reply saying he is not, you do not truly know much about art. And by the way, COMPUTER ART IS REAL ART!!!!! I am a painter too (watercolors), and I think this is beautiful. No matter what you say, THIS MAN IS AN AMAZING ARTIST. So there.

  • @TheInbornMechanics You cannot make fun of other people's art when it is obviously very difficult to do (yes, it IS) and is done extremely well. Besides, art is the individual's own interpretation and the medium is their choice. As an ARTIST you should know that. And though you say that you're more mature than everyone else and so you are a better artist, age doesn't matter when it comes to the arts. Some people have a gift.

  • luvz alotz omfq he so awesome!!!!!

  • Wow!! This was just amazing!! Cnt imagine how hard this must have been 2 do.. Great job!!

  • Hey im thinking of getting a tablet and doing some drawings and i have 2 questions and would much appreciate it if anybody could help me out. First off how different are Photoshop CS and Photoshop Elements? As I'm a beginner could I still use Elements to draw some stuff? And also I've seen that some tablets do not have a screen with an image and are simply a pad. Is it worth spending a little extra cash to get one such as the Wacom Cintiq 12WX with a display on it. Thanks :) Oh andAwesome pic!

  • @YakEdits Photoshop CS is a full application. I haven't used much of Elements which I got bundled with my Tablet. On a more superficial scrutiny it seems to have lesser amount of tools and brush choices than CS. But I am not sure of it. Brushes you can create or download. Either way both offer a canvas and a brush. As far a a Cintiq is concerned, it is more expensive but definitly its a kick drawing directly on a screen, kind of like an iPhone. But the other tablets are good too.

  • wonderfull art :D

and to the long conversation that has been going on here

I do both I like normal drawing and digital

and i actully think digital is the most diffecult of the to, to master fully :D

  • uhmazing. this is sooo epic i cant believe how awesome. huge tim burton fan and i <3 this :D

  • Wow.

  • goes to my school

  • This was so amazing. :D

  • i dont like when its have been done in computer, i dont feel the connection between the artist and his art

    sorry

  • @Lirian04 I HATE the computer, but as far as this video goes, the computer couldn't have done it by itself. Genius is genius, no matter what medium is being used.

  • @virginiaorganbuilder i know, but still, ahh

is nothing personal i recognize the work of this man

but, is not art for me

  • @Lirian04 True. We sometimes produce labels (for pipe organs) by laser engraving, and sometimes we letter them by hand. One is art and one is not, clearly. If you can't smell the turpentine, then something's missing!

  • @virginiaorganbuilder you need to have at least two kind of connectiones with your art: the spiritual and the physical

maybe not everyone undestand it, you have too feel it

when i finish a piece i feel the piece

  • @Lirian04 I agree

  • @Lirian04 May I askhow there isn't a connection? Perhaps your belief in what art should be has shadowed your ability to see the truth behind someones abilities and the connection people make?

Traditional art is good for some, but the connection is just as strong digitially, infact there is hardly a difference.

  • How long did this actually take? It is insanely good! :)

  • Comment removed

  • i LOVE this!! it was amazing and the whole process mesmerized me!! so facinating!!

  • Stunning work!

  • MORAISITO THE BEST

  • awesomProxy-Connection: keep-alive

    Cache-Control: max-age=0

!!! tim burton is my drawing inspiration, everything i am working for in a cgi and animation for video games and movies is because of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    [if u didnt know he

  • This is nowhere near as realistic as his other speed paintings. But yet it is still amazing.

  • I love Burton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Uhm, SLEEPY HOLLOW MUSIC FTW!

  • You are a genius *.*

  • what tablet are you usinng?

  • BTW InbornMechanics...no one denies that it takes a very long time and hard work to learn how to draw...I should know...just as much as it takes to learn to play the guitar.

  • My My...such ado about nothing...art is where you can expresses yourself freely , snapping free from the bonds and shackles of what is accepted as norm...seriously digital art or traditional, as long as it gets what you want to say through effectively as you desire is very valid. And that is all it takes. Please don't turn this into another utterly inane babble ...seriously

  • @allard999 i agree but you have to admit its pretty cool

  • @TheInbornMechanics So, when you say "all you need to do with computer art is sharpen your skills (by learning more commands and buying a better mouse)." You'd be referring to the exact same skills you and every other trained artist develops. Please reconsider Digital Art.

  • @TheInbornMechanics Haha, you obviously don't understand nearly as much about digital art as me. First off, in the digital art Nico is performing in this video doesn't use a mouse. In almost all digital paintings you use a tablet, i currently own both Wacom Indus 4 and Bamboo tablets. Second, in digital art there are no commands, unless you're referring to hot-keys, but the only use of those is a quicker way to use options. I'll continue on my next post.

  • @TheInbornMechanics I can't even describe how much i disagree with you.. "Computer Art" and painting is almost the exact same thing. You learn the same way, and you can draw the exact same things, It's just using different tools. Learning to draw and paint takes the exact same effort as digital art because you basically learn the exact same way. Nico Di Mattia's computer screen is like your canvas, only his canvas contains all the tools he needs.

    And Nico paints to..

  • @bbowiee Third, for digital art you go through the same training as an artist like yourself goes through. My older brother(23yrs) is currently in an art uni taking classes required for digital design. All the classes required for digital design are the same as an average artist would take to develop his/her drawing/painting skills. I'll continue on my next post.

  • Yeah I'll just stick with charcoal sketches and surreal figures drawen with a blue pen.

    (()).(())

Digital art is... For people who can do that. I felt like killing my computer and set it on fire and jump on it and melt every single letter on the keyboard seperately and chew on the harddrive, when I tried to do digital art.

    Temperemental issues.

Tim burton is awesome, by the way. And so are you being able to to that... Drawing thing.

  • @TheInbornMechanics you suk

  • beautiful video!!!!! nice job!!!

    name of the song?

  • @TheInbornMechanics

You have a lot to say. I mean, is this your thing? You pick some obscure video and bitch about it? You seem like the kind of person who can't stand to see others do what they do and do it right too. I mean "all you need to do is command, and if you make a mistake, you simply undo it" what is that a DOS version of a painting application. you may be a pro guitarist...but you are definitely not a trained painter. You would not make a statement like that if you were.

  • A painting application only provides you tools...sure it may have a lot of effects that you can add, but to make a painting like this, all you have to use is a brush tool and colors provided. The rest is up to YOU. And your skills. Which will not change no matter what the medium.

  • @allard999 Brava.

  • All of that hair must have been a nightmare to draw.

  • You are a very smart person using Danny Elfman as background.

  • @TheInbornMechanics i agree w/ allard999.guitar hero may not be as affective at helping someone learn guitar, but it can teach somone rhythm and hand movements. i want to see you try and do what this guy did. my dad works in graphics and it isnt nearly as easy as you think. go ahead and try, and i bet you wont get much. computer art needs as much talent and patience as any onther type of art.

  • Amazing painting!!!!

  • *clap clap clap clap clap* Amazing!! :D

  • @TheInbornMechanics

Its just about as real as any other art, buddy....Its just medium that's different....I mean then shouldn't everyone put away their charcoals, papers and oil pigments and go scribble on caves...If you think digital art is a breeze, then you have no understanding of the medium.....it is just about as hard to master.....rules remain the same...mediums change...besides its not the tool that maketh an artist

  • @allard999 you tell em bouy

  • @allard999 The only thing I think digital art has that regular art doesn't is a really nice undo function :-)

  • genial ..

  • Fucking awesome job.

  • he looks kinds cross-eyed @_@

  • just noticed the shocking resemblance between tim burton and brad garrett

  • is that Danny Elfman music, b/c he used him in alot of his films. Tim Burton is probably my fav director, and i think the drawing is really cool.

  • TOO AWESOME XD

  • XD It is playing scary music whenever it gets close to his face. L0L

  • holy fuck

  • At 1:35 it looks like he's blind at one of his eyes Great work, This looks almost as a photography of him

  • amazinggggggggggggggggg

  • Wow, how the fuck... ahah. Drawing is hard enough but i cant believe u did this on the computer, pretty awesome!

  • That's like really really cool! how in hell did you do that! like seriously im not joking, I paint pictures of animals that i usually photograph and then paint them, i usually do horses but really that was cool to watch!

  • what application did u use?

  • @EriGaGa92 read description

  • asoo!!!

  • oooo amazing !

  • that's absolutely amazing! :o

  • when you were adding the shaved beard the dramatic music kinda made it so, scary...

  • greatttttttttt, please check my vid!!!!!!!!

  • you re an amazing artist!!!

  • :-)

  • This is just amazing.I wish I could draw faces with such a depth, shadows and realistic as you do.

  • Isn't it ironic that Tim Burton spends as much care, time and attention to each frame of his movies as this artist has with his face.

  • Awesome! Very good work, Mac!

  • Anyone else think he looks sort of like Nicholas Cage? XP

But yeah, great painting! Keep up the wonderful work. =)

  • I love TIM BURTON. He is my idol. I've seen just about every film he's ever worked on. This video made my face very happy :D

  • I love Him :]

I don't think the music was epic enough though....
