Then in 1990's I saw this Samurai Showdown 2 and it got me a little hooked for a few months but the cost of playing out weighed the fun . Not like street fighter. If some one cheated on me with chun li I would drop 5 bucks of quarters in and say You gonna get what you deserve now hahahah. Then its tap throw for many hours lol. Big girl fight :)

I was never a big gamer, But I'll tell you my story. When I was 10 I feel in love with super tennis which was at my moms college. Then at 11/12 ish I enjoyed super mario brothers but nothing else. Then later on around 17 years of age my local shopping center got a game called street fighter 2 (I didn't care for street fighter 1) So I played it with some kids after school and I was addicted ! . After a few years of play it where ever I could find it while out. I never played anything their after.

this is the most realistic ss so far cause each attack is so powerefull, just like in a real fight , youll get cuts and stuff but overall the fight will end in 30 seconds or less

I love how one 'Fierce' attack on here can take 40% of the health bar. Makes battles much, much faster and more lethal, which was the point of the series until SS IV and on, when it turned combo-crazy

If you look at the comment I replied to you would see that I was referring to when he said "the animation and characters are the best". I never said the game was bad, i simply stated my opinion...that the animation for this game are bad compared to say...Street Fighter 3rd strike or something of the sort.

also, back in the day when EGM used to actually be a help to gaming, rather than online sources, we learned every single move possible, PLUS cheats/hidden moves, and other tricks. there was no such thing as using 3 moves over and over. it was utilize everything, have some flair and speed, or go home. even casual SHOULD have some style. THAT'S playing.

the arcade opened at 10am, and closed at 11pm, and while i was not modelling, i was there.

sorry, but button-mashing doesn't make a good player. it's competition against all talents that hones your skill. i played tourists from the US, venezuela, europe. they all paled.

At our arcade when the game came out, I was the only Sieger player, and I never knew of the slide into uppercut into air followed by back breaker. I could get the gauntlet to fire shells, repell stuff andthe weapon breaker but that was it.
