Haha, I remember this. Guy I haven't seen for 8 years gave me this album and I must admit i liked it. Even now I don't think it's weak.. Upload full of memories.. Thx
If you like The Pharcyde, Q-Tip, or even Mos Def then how could someone bomb on this? Tight ass production. Maybe Greens lyrics are ghostwritten, maybe not. Professional reviews from '96 dismiss the album because he was on 90210. If he tried to rap like Snoop then I could see a problem. This isn't gangsta or poverty rap. It's just rapping like back in the 80's with a 90's flow. You got Soulja Boy and Young Joc getting Grammy nominations, and this album is considered garbage...makes no sense.
LA Jay, Will I Am, and Slim Kid3 on the production. Will I Am was doin his thing waaayyyy before he was involved in the manufactured group we know as the Black Eyed Peas...
@debaucheryofgod Even though it can't compete with biggie or tupac or dr. dre this album is really good and the fact that almost nobody knows it makes it from 3/5 to 4/5
