One thing you forgot to mention which is the most important feature of the update is you no longer need to recover your profile. What I Mean is if I got to a friends and download my profile, when I get home I no longer need to redownload it, and when I go back to his xbox my profile is still there without needing to download it again.

I personally like the Xbox "dashboard" better then the PS3 home screen because I'm not a big gamer and don't have inside knowledge of new releases and that "hot new game" that just came out so I prefer the IN YO FACE advertisement that the Xbox live tiles provide that keep me updated with the latest trends.
