Another interesting study would be the context of "magic" and "sorcerers" which are a common theme in "family" entertainment. I suggest there is an attempt to desensitize us to danger.
Yes, Disney did imprint our childhoods. I would suggest that we ask Jesus to erase the greater part of those imprints. The song is definitely worth hearing over and over, but I just can't share the emotional attachment to to video. Sorry. If Disney is "family" entertainment, someone is using a different dictionary and coming from a different world view than that of the Bible.

I got the Dumbo video a few years ago & watched it at work after hours while finishing up a special mailing. I couldn't believe how you could be ecstatically happy one second & in tears the next, or visa versa. Disney knew how to make a cartoon & imprint our childhoods. I love this song by Watermark. It's perfect with this video. And I can't watch it without laughing and crying.
