  • Gave me the chills! Love it!

  • Bures Wimme! You are very talented and skilled artist in your kategori jojk! I love to listen your talented and skilled artistic interpretation of jojk, this perhaps oldest form of music in art! You are really faschinating! I meet you 1993 in karesuando, Kaarevaara in Davvi Suvva a little moment but i know you can´t remember me! I´m Sami and plays more than 10 instruments and i hope to meet you and play jojk with you/ mauri,eira@gmail.com

  • Yes, this is Sami...Wimme Saari is Sami (Lappi, though we prefer to be called Sami now)...he is from Finnish Sapmi (Samiland). :)

  • Wimmie is the man!

  • Oho and Wow, this is cool as ever if it is really folk music from lapland. Ok, it's still cool if it is from Sibis kansanmusiikin osasto students, which is my guess.

  • Hei Hei! Is this Lappi? The music has a strong melodic line, but the words do not sound Finnish. In fact the sounds do not seem language...Very Very unique. Very Very innovative maybe from folk origins with modern instruments selectively added in like salt and pepper to spice the vocal up.I doubt that a raindeer herder would sing this tune. It might "spook" the herd. Agape, kiitos, shalom, xie xie, salaam ja namaste,

    Don as "Tauno"

Post Scriptus: Maybe it is Pentti Saarikoski wanting?

  • Hail from Russia!
