Placebo is a pill that is not meant to be the real medicine but study's show that people felt better when taking this fake pill with out knowing that they did. After they found out that they took the fake pill, they felt like the placebo had not affect at all. In many ways I was a placebo for this girl who would always chat with me for relief and then when she got things together with her boy friend, she would leave me once again as if I wasn't the real thing that made her feel good.
