Don't forget musically Grip Inc. had always been a joint and equal effort between Dave Lombardo and Waldemar Sorychta. This song is no exception.

What makes it exceptional, is a fresh and thrilling combination of classic/Latin guitar and thrash/metal drumming. Contrasting with each other, guitar and drums alike sound tremendously powerful. A great example for unique chemistry between Sorychta and Lombardo...

A short but intense musical journey, this is one of the best instrumental songs ever.

I heard "Christ Illusion" and thought "holy hell when did Dave become such a good drummer!?" Well I found Grip Inc and saw where!

Now I love Dave but he was a straight up thrasher, now he can really drum like a champ!

I was always surprised at Dave's drumming when he returned to Slayer. like, I knew he could thrash but wow he's technical and has some great feel!

Now I see why. Clearly his work with this band, and the experimental Fantomas really improved him!
