  • Woww this is soo awesome Thanks for sharing!

  • They sound a bit rough ... but I still love it! Time of the Season and She's Not There are terrific songs that really fit the era. Go ZOMBIES!

  • woah that was creepy i was playing this then a car honked and it matched the note colin was singing 0_o

  • Tres tres tres bon.

  • Superbe interpretation de cette magnifique chanson. Le clavieristeest tres bon.

  • love this song, wish melanie fiona didnt copy it

  • Love this song -- always put me in a funky mood. and just played a Zombies CD!

  • They are clearly enjoying themselves. Wish I could have been there. Looks and sounds like they are great live.

  • Who's your daddy? Is he rich like me?

    Rick

  • i love this generation of bands bcuz back then when they were performing they actually tried to perform well in front of an audience. now its all about showing off and shit but these guys have kept it real and are a great live band.

  • Whos yur daddy?

  • GROOVY TY FOR POSTING JUST AWESOME i can,t save & fav i already have it HEY J AWESOME SHARE FROM J I AGREE SPECIAL ty you both LOVE YOU J

  • Groovy baby.

  • man i would love to see them live :P

  • IS THE ONE OF THE KEYBOARDS THE ORIGINAL MEMBER? CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME?

    mike

  • The keyboard player is Rod Argent, one of the original founders of The Zombies.

  • Yes, the keyboard player is Rod Argent. He is an original member of 'The Zombies'. The founding member, in fact.

  • My mother thought they were too intense and risque for little me to listen to. Did it anyway, they were great.

  • love the zombies, they kick ass!

  • awesome song, great performance.

  • Its funny that this band is not filed with the greats, partially because of so much less volume of hits, but their hits are as good as the very very best.

  • some pretty inept clappers in the audience.

  • how can one's voice remain so beautiful?

  • I agree

  • Th videos fromthis concert made Colin look very mysterious

  • why does this totally benign comment have -4 points?! hahahahhaha.

  • oh man its like he has freakin 20 fingers!

  • Saw Zombies/Yardbirds tour in June. Colin Blunstones voice is amazing, what a fantansic show, best I've seen in ages. Listen to the Cd Live at the Bloomsbury Theatre, I bought a signed copy at the show, can't stop playing it.

  • This song is an awesome song! Great job with the video post!

  • This song was in a deleted scene in the 2nd Austin Powers!

  • I think this is the line up I saw at Cox's Yard, Stratford-upon-Avon with Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent, last year. They were excellent! Does anybody know if the rest of the band are from the original Zombies?

I think it is great that they have decided to carry on rocking!

  • I believe the bassist is one of the original band mates.

  • @SLOVoyeur

The bassist is Jim Rodford. He's Rod's cousin, and was in Argent, then The Kinks.

I saw these guys a few years ago. The guitarist looks the same (he was with Paul McCartney), so the drummer should be Steve Rodford, Jim's son.

  • @SLOVoyeur yep, the bass player is original...

  • Colin and Rod perform with their touring band. Guitar is Keith Airey, Drums is Steve Rodford, Bass is Jim Rodford (Steve's dad). Jim Rodford played with the band Argent (band formed by Rod after the Zombies split up).

In March the 4 surviving original Zombies (Paul Atkinson died 2004) did 3 concerts in London to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Odessey and Oracle. A live 2cd is released this 30 June.

  • waht amazes me is the similarity of his mannerisms as in the 60s. you know, the arms always moving and stuff...

  • Great make out song!

  • wat an amasin song!!!

  • I wish there was a video for their song : If it Don't Work Out. A great Zombie Song that gets NO airplay.

  • He sounds like Ozzy at 0:47, I'm sure The Zombies were a huge influence for him who came up later on with Black Sabbath.

  • No Kidding!!!!!

  • This song is a lovable classic.

At his age, he still sounds GREAT.

  • And looks great! I had listened to the song for years thinking of serious Zombie like musicians, and I just melted when I saw Colin singing live.

  • This is such a classic! One of the ageless sound. Fun tune to play and sing too.

  • what's your name? who's your daddy?

  • I heard them live this year in Seattle at the Triple Door. I, too, love Colin's vocals. I don't think his voice has diminished, but I think that for some reason he's shouting the high notes which on record, he eased out.

  • amazing. it's still a great song and a superior performance too.

  • Saw them at Hippiesfest 7/27 in Wallingford. Had 2nd row & center seats and worth every penny. Fell in love with Colin when I was 12 and he is better than ever 40 yrs later...live no less!! Supposed to meet them, but the venue screwed that up. Thanks for the great video!!!

  • Timeless....

  • hard to capture the singing on the first line of the recording. That breathy, far away quality comes out in later sections of current performances, but that first line is hard to re-capture. There must have been some fancy mixing and many takes to get it on the record. However, these guys are an inspiration for touring. Its for the love of the music and people I'm sure.

  • Just saw him near pittsburgh at Hippiefest. They stole the show!

  • I also saw the Zombies at Hippiefest in Dallas last weekend. The Zombies alone were worth the price of admission. Colin's voice was stronger than ever, Rod was a wild man on the keyboard, the touring band was tight, and they all connected with the audience. An amazing experience.

  • I saw these guys at Hippiefest in Hollywood, Florida. They were incredible. I wish I could see them again.

  • Saw them last night at Hippiefest in Dallas. Great set! And oh by the way, if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all, or didn't your folks teach you any manners?

  • oh, man. i really love colin blunstone! there's always this magical quality in his voice that's just so very charming! he's so awesome.

  • I agree with SLOVoyeur, the older you get your vocals do change a lot. I give him a lot of credit. His vocals are good compared to some others out there.

  • What's up with 'Hippyfest" What do the Zombies sing? I'm onterested in them.

  • What the heck are some of you guys going on about?!!! I saw them 2 nights ago & Colin's never sung better in his life - the new songs were pretty good too! Respect is due!!!

  • Get your shit together people...it isnt age

gigging all around the freaking world.

If half the singers on the radio today

sounded this good (even on a bad nite

for the zombies) theyed be so lucky.

Not counting all the hit's theyve left

in history. Today's band cant even crap

out 3 hit's even if they wanted to.

  • Saw them 3 years ago in Hoogezand,Netherlands, amazing concert...!

  • Give the guy a break! He IS doing great for his age!

  • yeah, he sounds pretty good for an old guy now, but his voice definitely hasnt improved. he used to sound amazing.

  • i agree, his voice clearly sounds better on the studio version, but for she's not there, i like the geezer version a lot better cuz he doesnt sing falsetto like he used to, but just belts it out and it sounds amazing
