I think the song made the dance as opposed to the other way round, but I do agree it's one of the most original freestyles I've seen so far within the Strictly Come Dancing franchise [and before people point out that this is Dancing With The Stars - I know it's called that but the global umbrella franchise to which this belongs, given that the show originated in the UK via BBC, is called Strictly Come Dancing].

That was beautiful. I wish we had this in the US version. Instead we get a lot of jumping around and hip hop dancing. Which is fine, but gets old after a while. That, right there, is what I'd like to see. Hauntingly beautiful is exactly right.

I wish I could have seen this one live. It is the one dance from the entire series that has actually moved me to tears. What an awesome, beautiful routine. It deserved to be the winner.

According to the DWTS website it is 'Kothbiro' by Ayub Ogada, from Kenya. The music was used in the movie 'The Constant Gardener'.
