@midge211 You have the option for English or Japanese menu, but the manual is Japanese. However, you can download the manual online in pdf for T2I, 550d, and X4, which are the same. That is what I did.

EOS Kiss X4 (550D, Rebel T2i ) + 28mm Lens Test shot の動画では凄く綺麗かつまとめてあるのに感動しました。

WOW I've seen you unbox every Canon Kiss models from X2 to X4, you really should consider moving up the range like a 50D or a 7D, I mean with the money you spent on X3 and X4, you probably would have a 50D by now. Just an opinion =D

I'd compare this with the D90 in terms of picture quality. I work in a camera shop so i've played with it quite a bit. The dynamic contrast control (whatever it's called, similar to D-lighting works really well!!) and also you don't get that jelly effect in the video either. I also like how you can select two iso's and then the camera will choose anything between them depending on the lighting. Apart from that it's the best entry level canon i've seen in a while. Like when the 400D came out.

Yep. I was going nuts trying to decide on a DSLR for video before this came out. It's a huge improvement over the X3 (t1i) and a unbelievable value for the money.
