Ah yes there was quite some talk about how those pieces would come together best. I don't think height was the trouble then, but there was one of those pipe walls crossing the street was well back then, making the overpass pointless.
I was wondering how it would end up, and I have to say it looks very good. all the pipes end up going underground at some point so you it gives the suggestion that more is going on under there.
seems like maybe you could use a buildup of flock/dust around the edges of some of walls where they meet the ground. overall i think it looks pretty good, but that might help integrate the building pieces with the table surface (could add some more color variation also). Im a big fan off small accents of mossy buildup too, but I dunno if you wanna do all that
@chicophi220 I stayed away from foliage (flock and moss) as they feel a little too 'living' for the wasteland feel of the set. Perhaps adding some really 'dead' colors would be the right feel. At this point however, a significant amount of time has been invested in the set and I am hesitant to add more unless specifically requested by the customer. Its a great observation though.
