With such a noisy truck engine, they are lucky that the real enemies do not use IEDs to disable the lead vehicle. And no deadly RPG's fired at the truck either. AFP would be easily defeated by any of the countries in the region. In the end the civilian population will always pay the price when enemy cruise missiles start hitting the GHQ and all the major military bases. Very sad situation.

there are so many instances of ambush on mounted troops in the philippines and i firmly believe we need to train our soldiers more on the actions-on and drill when it comes to this kind of situation.

as i have seen on the video, there was no definitive agression on the suppressed troops. they were just hiding their asses sucking their thumbs on that ditch instead of regaining the initiative by pouring everything they've got (of course still with ammo discipline) towards the known enemy position

"*counter-ambush" should've been the most efficient actions-on in this kind of scenario... the road itself was an obstacle as i have seen on the video the squad has been divided by that obstacle, not good for efficient command and control. when the ambush sprung troops on the killzone knew exactly where the enemies were so the conduct of a flanking manouvre should've been easy.

another important thing to condsider on this kind of scenario is losing the initiative.

We got creamed by the PMA cadets, its their home turf and know the terrain pretty well. Also they are well trained and in their prime.

But at the end there were no losers nor winners, its all about brotherhood.

Please dont judge by what you see in the video only. The ambush scenario that your seeing is realtime meaning we (inside the truck) had no idea where we were going to get ambushed, just like in real life you may have intel that there maybe an ambush but would know were exactly, so hence the chaotic scene that everyone is watching.

After this video was taken, us and some of the cadets became very emotional because we got a glimpse of what some of our fallen comrades experienced.

So if you value the way of life that you have like posting insults on youtube, please find the GOOD with the part that we try and do to help our military improve itself so that they can protect each and every Pinoy's freedom.

This exercise was done to help our PMA cadets train. majority of us na nasa truck used to be ex-service men some are just friends.

We didn't make this video just for showing people na astig kami. No way. This was posted here so that the cadets can analyze the movements that they did and what transpires in a situation like a truck ambush in a killzone.

so please keep your comments for yourself since i know for a fact you can only dream of doing something like this.

there are too many haters in this world. the main purpose of this video is about MILSIM (military simulation). yeah they are airsofters bcoz you cannot use real guns in MILSIM like this. the best reason for this is operation exercise.

Does everyone expect us to train with live bullets?? even if we can use blanks it will still be very expensive for us and the PMA as well.

We utilize Airsoft since the weight and feel is almost as the real thing. even though there's range limitation we can still provide our cadets a safe and most realistic training we can give them.

most of the haters here are pure talkish. nothing between their ears ika nga. puro pabigat sa gobyerno. i am half pinoy-half israeli by blood. a mixed race and even in tel aviv we also do this milsim a lot using airsoft guns because it is so stupid in using real ammo and guns. though sometimes we also use real guns in special situations like operation jericho and most of the guys are from IDF Special Unit sayeret matkal, shayetet 13 and etc in special mission exercise.

I agree with your point Jason. I'm half Australian myself and did my time in the Army. I have experienced 1st hand what a REAL gun fight is when i was in east timor.

Most people say that this scenario we did was a joke since everyone in the truck was going all over the place and not seeking cover, the reason for this is that the ambushers were in an elevated position and that this area was a perfect kill zone. So no matter where you hide you'll get hit.
