@yelloweyeball: You know, I've been trying to find photographs of some of the classic Disney animators online and I can't find a dang thing! Not one photograph of Hicks Lokey, only one of Howard Swift, and about three of Norman Ferguson. I love that part of Norman looking at his own facial expressions in the mirror in this special. Disney should have a whole website dedicated to these legends of the industry. It's like they've shoved them under the carpet!
I wonder if they're using the same art process for the Princess and the Frog! Lately, they've only been using CGI for the movies, but I heard the Princess and the Frog is supposed to be traditional animation.
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
You know, all of the animated films wouldn't have been possible if Disney hadn't of risked everything to bring Snow White to the screen. I mean everything, even his entire family fortune was at stake for Snow White and this was during the height of the great depression, so imagine how tough that was back then.
It's amazing work how it's all put together! I hope to be a part of that someday! I would love more than anything to work for Disney and make the sketches for the next movies people await. Thanks for posting this! :D
its sad to think that computers replaced many of the studio workers. especially in the ink and paint department.
