Yeah I loved Dead Space. The jump scares were great but what I found was even SCARIER than that was just going into the next room knowing something could attack you from anywhere. The atmosphere combined the suspense that builds up in the player's mind (depending on how into the game they are) results in that player dreading each room after the next and providing a more rich experience. But with Extraction I hope the loss of free movement and view won't take that away.
