  • I've had Transverse Myelitis since Fathers Day 2001. I'm not totally paralized but I feel like I got an over dose shot of numbing meds like from the dentist. I feel for people who have to live in "a chair"! My lesion is at T-7 so I'm numb from the under my left breast to my left foot and some on the right. People ask, how are you doing and I'll say fine. My husband will say later did you tell them how many pills you have to take to be FINE! Linda

  • The same thing happened to me. On Oct. 4, 2004 I woke up in the middle of the night not being able to feel or move anything from my chest down. By the time the ambulance got there I couldn't feel or move my arms either. All I can remember was the extreme pain and wondering what happened when the loss of feeling got past my head. I felt like I was drowning but there was no water.

I've had a C6 complete spinal cord injury ever since. I was lucky enough to regain limited arm movement though.

  • I LOVE TO EAT PUSSY!!!

  • Montel is way too dramatic and keeps butting in. Its like shut the fuck up Montel. let them talk and quit over -reacting please.

  • I have transverse myelitis too

  • this video is fucking sweet, go montel and rucker

  • Montel normally makes my skin crawl--but Allen's easygoing good humor really shines through. He doesn't need to tell us he's not a victim; just from the way he talks I can tell he's not a victim. Great book, by the way.
