why are the american people so ignorant of this man he may not be perfect but he sure does know what is killing the free world not just the u.s. maybe if the u.s. can't use him he could relocate to canada because ALL our politicians are to involved in their entitlements WAKE UP AMERICA PUT THIS GUY IN OVAL OFFICE
the system is currupt..and the people who run it and us!! who ever dont see this needs to wake up...Ron Paul is most likely the best thing that happened to the USA since Kennedy!
As Canadians, I believe that we should create a movement to support Ron Paul (if there isn't one already [via Occupy?]) ... We must make this movement large enough that the international media will begin to take notice. We are at such a pivotal point in humanity ... a point of singularity in which we must make a stand to live for one way, or another. The choice we make this year (bless 2012) may change the course of future and usher us into a great world for the people, or for the world elites.
I'm from the UK and seriously Ron Paul is your chance America, he isn't going to live forever and with his ideas which actually click and make sense he WILL make the world better, hell the fact he's the only candidate I know of with people around the world supporting him says enough. He speaks the truth and has done for decades, so he isn't just pulling tricks out of a gat here. Vote Ron Paul America, get your freedom back.
SORRY...have to disagree with you on this. There is nothing iherently wrong with the free market system itself.......it is the PEOPLE that distort and corrupt the system not the other way around. Of course in any sort of capitalistic sysem there has to be rules and regulations in place to make sure that everybody 'plays fair' ....and i don't think Ron Paul is advocating a "dog eat dog" type of economic system.
@juiceyjas23 Well you are wrong. It's only with the coercive force of government that individuals can abuse an economy, and Paul knows that. He wouldn't deregulate everything in an instant but he does advocate moving in that direction. The idea you present of some kind of 'system' independent of the 'people' within it is totally artificial. There IS nothing wrong with free markets, full stop.
I am a Canadian and I do not support Ron Paul. While I agree with Dr. Paul's views on liberty and the protection of constitutional law, I cannot support his views on free market capitalism and I find it quite saddening that a man as intelligent as Dr. Paul could fall for the "free market" bullshit theory. The inherent flaws of capitalism are clear. Whether it comes in the form of corporatism, state capitalism or free market capitalism.
Ron ...if they dont w\ant you come to Canada and teach our politicians some morals , integrity and ethics. Paul for 2012 . I hate having an idiot puppet for a neighbour
The thing is that income tax in the USA is used to pay the interests to privite banks on the bonds the Fed sells by printing money out of nothing, intergalactical foreign policies and bailing out some crooks from Detroit and Wall Street (profits are for me, losses are for everybody else...). Get rid of that and you wont need income tax ever again.
the whole world is endorsing ron paul to the americans for president because they know that with him incharge, the whole world will be better off than today.
I am not American but I urge everyone to support this message to America:
You have a once in a GENERATION opportunity to elect a true patriot and visionary to the White House.
Do NOT ignore this man by falling for the scare tactics of the mass media and puppet candidates owned by Wall Street.
Ron Paul's words can be hard to accept. His policies will be hard to adopt. Elect Ron Paul, not because it is easy, but because it is the hard thing to do! Take back your constitution and liberty!
@donx03 Check out the video I posted on my front page on our caucus days ago in my town of hard working, family people and it is exactly like this every where Dr. Ron Paul goes in the US,let me guess there showing you nothing of the real deal on Canadian TV same as EU and US TV but it's happening all the same weather they like it or not.I'm so happy it is you guys that are our neighbors to the north.
if this guy isnt the next president of america it just shows that the powers to be in america already have the next, the future, and past presidents already locked in. i think the presidential race/voteing is rigged and very corrupt, prove me wrong plz americans this guy is dare i say the last hope for north america, he is the only one 100% does not have the puppet strings controlling him. I and alot of outside looking in peeps around the world are counting on you americans. vote Dr. Ron Paul:)
Journalists: where are your balls? You say what you r told to say and you mislead the public, I ask "Why do you hate your country". Why do you sell out your country while soldiers are overseas protecting it. What are they protecting? They don't protect their lives, they put their lives right out there, yet you, coward, stay home and protect your career. They give their life and you can't even give up a crummy job.
Am I the only one who watches and listens to what is going on in government...the corruption, scandals, trickery, dirty dealings, selling of armaments, war profiting, sabotage, etc. etc. and thinks TREACHERY? Is there anyone else out there who hears the word TREASON?
Why is the media treating Ron Paul like this?It only exposes that they are bought and controlled...and whoever is pulling their puppet strings is afraid. What are they afraid of?.It only intrigues me to find out who this Ron Paul is.Doesn't that alone just make you want to know him more. What is it about this man that makes them use media trickery to deflect from him and what he is saying.I accuse the puppet masters and the puppets as haters of America.
Keep spreading this video around. Ron Paul is a lone voice. America is drowning. China is watching and waiting for it to take its last breath As an outsider watching Americans and their use of Hollywood and tabloid fluff like a distraction drug, it seems as though they have a death wish.In the future, they will look back and recall his warnings.Easy to say they deserve what happens to them but when their ship sinks the pull might take us down with them.AMERICANS DO SOMETHING.
@arnelrollan only problem is that any online poll run by the msm either distorts the results or removes them quickly if they are in support of dr. paul. go to sites like drudge.com or alex jones infowars.com that occasionaly put up legitimite polls.
@bennyorr44 funny isnt it that we as Canadians are playing such a huge part in waking our American brothers and sisters up as we are able to see things from the outside looking in, yet with a similar frame of reference...we post video's, write blogs, call in to shows like Alex Jons and take part in online polls supporting RP. makes me proud to be a Canadian!
@juiceyjas23 You bet ! I "almost" wish I was American just so I could go and vote for Ron Paul. I'm proud too. Everyone i know feels the same. He's just GOT to win the presidency.
@juiceyjas23 ron paul is as bad as harper and his conservatives who promote corperations interests and talk bad about Gov supporting the middle/ lower classes, no they rather let the poor starve and call them useless lazy eaters and help privatization calling corperations people and call for low taxes and no taxes and no regulations which would allow corperations to run wild and fast track one world order
@juiceyjas23 If only we did the same in our own country. Look at what our government does it it just as bad if not worse than the U.S. I think Canadians are brainwashed though. If you talk about reforming healthcare people freak out and probably think you're the devil. Perhaps Canada and even the U.S. are not ready for a Ron Paul. Our entire systems could collapse and people would probably want another FDR and go through it again.
i am canadian too and i do think we are corrupt but not as close as the U.S i sure think RP would be the best president ever and would help the U.S and canada probly help all the world if you don't get to be president come up north i would vote for you anyday over Harper
@juiceyjas23 Being a Canadian myself I see things changing on our home front moving in a direction that the American government is going. Alot has changed here in the last 10 years especially once the secretive Harper government took over, but yes I'm all for Ron Paul he is certainly what the people of the United States need right now from what I see!
ron paul is a magnet to all peace loving people. not only a hero to the americans but to the whole world. his views and honesty echos around the world. and if elected president 2012, i bet my balls that the world will be peaceful than today. if anybody out there who don't agree that ron paul is a peace icon of the planet, try conducting a survey on the internet and be ready to be surprised. go go go ron paul. the people are awaken now. the dream is over.
TO ALL VIEWERS: I just want to say how pleased i am that months later this video, and a couple other like it that i have posted, continue to inspire people to leave comments on an almost daily basis. It just shows how passionate people are about Dr. Paul and his message of peace, liberty and limited government delivered from a man whose integrity, conviction & willingness to speak the truth is unrivaled among politicians, Canadian or American (in my humble opinion).....
@juiceyjas23 Amen!! (from a french Canadian in Ottawa!) Dr. Paul is the begining of change for this whole continent..."if you build it, they will come!!"
God Bless you Dr. Ron Paul, may He watch over you and your family on your journey? If they don't vote you in? maybe come up here to Canada and teach our politician how to run a country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I could vote in the US b/c i would vote for Dr. Paul. Why do Americans allow the media to run their country? Wake up SHEEPLE vote Paul in 2012. If you dont, this Canadian will be very disappointed, not surprised, just disappointed. Americans are their own worst enemy.
@juiceyjas23 it would be awesome if this video included clips of both George Bush and Obama making campaign promises to "have a humble foreign policy; not tell other countries what to do" and to "bring the troops home". see youtube videos F9SOVzMV2bc and p12cAclNCRU.
I hate to be one of those "if people don't vote for my guy they are puppets" type of followers but I do feel that way. The reality when it comes to Ron Paul is he is a leader and not a follower. The other candidates for the right are basically towing the worn out and outdated RINO line that they have been doing for some time. Ron Paul stands alone on many issues and is no sell out. Those against him are towing the media line and being lambs to slaughter. Silence of the Lambs people.
2 thumbs way up from a fellow Canadian. I've been following Ron Paul for about 7 years and am cheering for him. He is the only candidate speaking the truth. He isn't mainstream, he's exactly what America needs right now.
@soushi8 Most Americans have the thinking that was programmed into them. Some of us have some common sense and brains. The elite did not get to us. Other than that many like the status quo and are comfortable with business as usual.
@Rassmack Totally agree with you. I too am Canadian, and what I would give to have Ron Paul replace Stephen Harper. Harper would be lucky to have even 1/10th of Ron Paul's intelligence and morality. Also, his respect for the people of the world and not just the almighty US. I believe if Ron Paul was ever elected President of the United States, he would be one of the greatest presidents in history. Although for the last 40 or 50 years, the bar hasn't been very high.
I'm RACIST for criticizing Obama. TERRORIST because I'm not with Bush. ANTISEMITIC for not supporting Rothschild Zionism. TEABAGGER for supporting the Constitution. TRUTH-ER for asking unanswered questions. TRAITOR for whistle-blowing on my corrupt Government. CONSPIRACY THEORIST for presenting documented facts. TROLL for uploading news, videos, quotes and U.S.Atrocities. ANTI-AMERICAN for supporting Constitutionalists like Dr. Ron Paul. RON PAUL 2012!
This guy is friggen awesome..Unfortunately the whole establishment in the US will never let him win. The only american politician i ever hear speak logically. He would get my vote if i wasn't Canadian. Funny how he gets no real coverage on american television. They even go so far as to skip his name in the news even when he comes in second..The american system is hugely corrupt and this guy is your savior. Too bad you are all too dumb to see it...
@kohoutre Not ALL of us kohoutre but most of my fellow countrymen seem too brain washed and out of touch to see this. This is not by mistake but by design. All one has to do is see the terrible illiteracy in this country to see the mess we are in. Our schools teach to the test and after that they do not care. The system has failed us and I do not blame the illiterate and the under educated. I blame the leaders at the top. Something must change.
I live in Canada, so I cannot do this. But people of America, the middle-lower class people, when your going around, leave small papers saying "Ron Paul 2012". This will get average citizens attention. It sounds tiny, but if every Ron Paul supporter did little things like this, it will generate attention. Just because your Canadian doesn't mean you can't do your part. Spread the news on Facebook, youtube, twitter.. any social networking. Get the word out, the media is a fucking gvmt puppet
I agree with juiceyjas23, the American media is doing some piece of work trying to make Ron Paul look stupid. However, I think the media is doing a shitty job at it, its soooooo fucken obvious. In debates the host will skip Ron Paul, a fucking DOCTOR on questions about legalizing marijuana, abortions and medicare?!?!?!?!? like wtf! And not to mention, when they have those questions that are every politicians nightmare who do they go to first...Ron. bcz they think they can make him look dumb lol
I am a proud Canadian and to be honest.... I am jealous of America for being able to have this brilliant man to vote for. Ron Paul stands for freedom..... why wouldn't people want their personal freedom? The only reason I can come up with is because they have never had it and don't understand what it means to be free..... truly free. This man would be a blessing for any country.
Yo uare all living in a fairy tale dream land. People are NICE! But people who want to profit from YOUR earnings are NOT NICE! They will do whatever it takes, for them to get their way! And when another 9/11 happens (if WronG Paul is elected), YOU WILL wake up. Think sense, think logic, do not denounce civilization. be smart, think progress, NOT back-dated anarchy.
Anarchism <-- Consequence and side effects of 90% of WronG Paul's policy and beliefs.
Look for this in YouTube: "RON PAUL SLAPS DOWN 911 TRUTHER QUESTION DURING S.C DEBATE". That's Paul - just like Obama - telling people to shut up about 9/11.
PAUL's stand on 9/11 is that "they" (the terrorists) are "over here" (in USA) because USA is "over there". On the basis of 9/11's being assumed to be OUTSIDE "terror", Paul thus runs his antiwar campaign... while simultaneously preserving 9/11 as a pretext for annexing Canada. He says, "stay out of nation-building", but he has not denounced NAU which would land the USA with Canada's trillions in land & resources to pay its bills to CHINA. I am no fan of RON PAUL. I am a sovereign CANADIAN.
Ron Paul has asked his followers who are seeking 9/11 truth to stop talking about it, if they "care for" him. He has openly said he doesn't think 9/11 requires a new investigation. 9/11 has been used not only to attack Iraq and Afghanistan, but to suck Canada into a North American security perimeter while integrating Canada's laws, judiciary, military and police into USA systems.
Don't vote for anyone that has more than 10$ in his pocket! Better yet, remember: Garbage in, garbage out..., don't vote at all. Unless you're a big, fat, capitalistic pig with millions to wipe your fat, stinking fucken ass with, just don't fucken vote. You're not going to be a big, fat fucken American Millionaire cocksucker on minimum wage, why the fuck would you vote for one..., are you all TV land fucken zombies. If you don't own 50 million, get the fuck out of the voting booth, SUCKER!
The reason the news isn't covering him is: If he got attention and won, there would only be good news to report, and no one likes good news these days.
Funny how with all the dirt being dug up on the majority of the other GOP candidates Ron Paul has remained unscathed. that's because there is nothing to find. That being said he is not even being mentioned as a candidate anymore by either the right wing or left wing media.PATHETIC. They keep talking about how shitty the GOP field is, and how they are all flawed, but in direct reference to Romney, Gingrich, Cain & Perry. So even when you are a lying flip flopper u get more coverage then Ron P.
@juiceyjas23 Don't worry, apathy is on our side. Your vote only may count once, but it goes a long way when no one else votes. Many 'experts' say they Ron Paul can only carry 20% of the population as supporters, but 20% of the population would win him the G.O.P nomination by a mile. Just keep doing your part, i've not yet met a person that can *will* support any other GOP candidate after learning about Dr. Paul.
@juiceyjas23 ron paul was birthing your kids and know he is trying to give them a future.....im sure he is talkin from his heart backed up by facts of the matters...i love this guy...i am canadian, but would vote for this guy ron...real deal ron...real deal ron...
@juiceyjas23 I agree. CNN and the real rulers of the US (Wall Street) are creating fake "evidence" to blemish Ron Paul but it still isn't working. Their censorship of him and not including him in some debates is disgusting, they're trying to ruin the only chance America has left.
Everyone, around the world, agrees with Ron Paul. I for one am sick and tired of our country being the Interventionalist and I don't care if it is not a word. You know what I mean. No more of our Sons' and Daughters' blood on foreign soil for the sake of the war machine and Big Business. Our foreign policy has sucked since after WW2. Why? Are our Presidents pupits to an invisible Power? Could it be the World Bankers? I don't know. All I know is it is time for us to mind our own business.
@papernpaste The man had a huge following. The main problem is that the media is doing an amazing job of convincing the American public that he is not a viable candidate...by basically not even acknowledging him as a candidate. Of course there are still a massive amount of Ron Paul supporters who know the real deal and will vote for him but i'm afraid that for the uneducated sheeple that vote based on mainstream media coverage he won't even register in their minds as a possible candidate.
Another former Commonwealther messing in our politics (i.e. Murdoch and W). Now this 'reposter' ("MY NEW VIDEO") is acting as Paul's liar by proxy. Check the video at 8:10. Paul didn't quit his seat to return to private practice. He quit to run for the Senate but lost the primary.
Libertarian? Not concerning a woman's right to choose.
He is woefully ignorant of the nature of fiat currencies and works hard to undermine the dollar. Maybe because of his large holdings of precious metals?
@cdmsr Well if he is a large holder of precious medals like gold he sure isn't cashing in on them. They did a profile on all the GOP's candidates house/s and Ron Paul had the least expensive house (some had multiple) of all. His house is valued at $375,000 and its he and his wife have lived there for something like 25 years, and its where they raised all their kids. Anyways regardless of what you think about his policies/idea's there is no denying he is one of the only honest politician's left.
@juiceyjas23: Honest? He claims his antichoice stance stems from witnessing a late-term abortion during his medical residency. In a NY Times profile he is quoted: “It was pretty dramatic for me to see a two-and-a-half-pound baby taken out crying and breathing and put in a bucket.” That isn't an abortion -- it's a murder and it makes the doctor Paul and anyone else present an accessory. I call it a BS effort to justify a position at odds with his cultivated image as a libertarian.
@juiceyjas23 Paul needs to clarify his tale of witnessing infanticide: Who was the doctor who threw a "crying and breathing ... 2 1/2 lb. baby ... into a trash can"? And how can anyone support a man -- a doctor! -- who participated in this atrocity and did NOTHING about it?
The truth is late-term abortions do not have this horrendous outcome except in the fever dreams of antchoice fanatics and campaign blather of phony 'honest' politicians.
Ron Paul is the Winston Churchill of our time. He has dismissed by the fat cats, but when things get deperate enough as they did in the UK, Ron Paul will be called on for his principles and intellect, not his handsome profile :)
@rmondave Great comment. My fear however is that by then it will be to late due to his age and other factors. He is already in serious trouble with the upcoming campaign (not that long ago i thought he had a real shot) based on the LIES the mainstream media has been pushing about his views on Federal student loans. It has caused a lot of young Ron Paul supporters to turn against him and of course the young, internet savy, voters make up a big part of his following. To bad people are once again
buying into the media's lies and spin jobbing.....i really thought the average American sheeple/people had smartened up and weren't going to fall for that crap anymore.....guess i was wrong and its the US, and the world, that will suffer if another puppet, sellout, fat cat establishment politician is voted in as president.
Just checked the vid stats...69 - 0 for thumbs up v.s thumbs down.......always liked the number 69...good number. Could this be some sort of lucky sign for the campaign?
@juiceyjas23 Another Canadian Fan...from Ottawa...Ron Paul made my jaw drop! I was not expecting to hear a politician speak so honestly! I loved his frustration with the reasons for Bill Clinton's impeachment! He was for impeachment but for much more logical reasons. He has created Hope in Politics for me.
CALLING ALL RON PAUL SUPPORTERS......PLEASE WATCH MY NEW VIDEO ABOUT RON PAUL AND HIS POLICIES ON FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS. THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS KILLING HIM!!! ON THIS ISSUE AND TWISTING HIS IDEA'S (AS USUAL) THIS COULD VERY WELL COST HIM THE NOMINATION.
@juiceyjas23 He personally responded to my email yesterday concerning the drug policies and prohibition of marijuana that cause border violence along the mexico-usa border. He supports it and thanked me for my kind support and let me know that he is the original cosigner of the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act.
Damn it Zazzle, where the F*ck is my Ron Paul REVOLUTION t-shirt. Been waiting days to get it in the mail so I can wear it in the city i live in (West Vancouver, BC, Canada) and get strange looks ;)
Where in Canada are you from? I live in BC. We need to change our idea of what the roll of government ought to be. I can barely provide for my wife and myself. I pay more than half of what I earn to the government involantarily. Income tax, provincial and federal inflation. 3.8% right out of the little that I could save. CPP which is insolvent car insurance, mandated monopoly gas tax sales tax the meth heads next door live much better on welfare guess it dosnt pay to be productive.
@clydrobe Same bro...and yes it is very, very expensive to live in BC. I don't have a family to support but i can't even imagine how a person would survive in BC with a family, and live a comfortable middle class lifestyle, unless you had a really high paying job. Even then they still F u. A family friend got a bonus from his work a few years ago and they took 1/2 of it...HALF of a bonus that he got based on his hard work & performance. And yet the govt' gets to take a nice big piece of the pie.
Europe LOVES Ron Paul too. He's a legend. As I read in a comment on YouTube a while ago: "You vote Obama to prove you weren't racist, now vote Ron Paul in 2012 to prove you're not stupid". Apologies for the 'logical punctuation', but I am European after all.
Anyone see the Vatican's public call today for a CENTRALIZED WORLD BANKING SYSTEM where we would have to give up some of our rights to a "centralized world authority"......seems all us NWO conspiracy theorists aren't nutjobs after all. Its all coming to pass people. Prepare yourselves.
YES AMERICA , REGISTER REPUBLICAN AND VOTE THIS GUY IN , HE WILL KICK ASS HERE AND NOT ALL OVER THE WORLD , playing corporate , enslavement games in third world countries . Shame on the CIA and the military industrial complex .
RON PAUL is the People's Choice in 2012! Place bumper stickers and signs, donate, and volunteer. We only have one shot at freedom. All for Paul. Join the REVOLUTION!!!!!
I totally believe this guy would actually try to do what he says. He seems so trustworthy to me. I wish he was a Canadian politician, I would be voting for him. Smart man.
@cellogirl63 I feel exactly the same way. I've never been so sure that a politician will do what he says, and say what he does, then i have with Ron Paul. I've always been passionate about politics but not about POLITICIANS.....because the vast majority of them are corrupt, greedy people who just love power and don't really give a damn about the rest of us. With Ron Paul i know he is for the people!
What would you say to Liberals who worry about his Free Market Capitalism/Austrian Economics Ideals. The Privatization of mostly everything. Im a ron Paul fan to, I just like to hear different peoples opinion on the big issues.
@scienceatheism if they are worried about ron paul's economic policy, then i would say they don't understand economics. keeping the government out of it keeps special interests from lobbying to creating barriers to entry against all competition. the government has no motivation to be efficient, if it goes over budget, they get a bigger loan, decreasing the value of your savings. private industry in a free market is what made this country so prosperous and "regulation" by the elite ruins that.
How about regulations on banks? and how do we stop things like the BP oil spill from happening if there is no regulation? What would you say to those who bring up the Oil company that basically monopolizes oil but doing it in a back door way? Isnt the regulation on somethings important to the people seeing that a corporation can become to powerful. how about the argument that the government should monopolize natural resources for the better of the nation?
@scienceatheism we live in a world with TONS of regulation. more regulations on a single industry than you could ever even read, much less understand and apply. how has it worked out so far? despite all the regulations, everything is still fucked up isn't it? agree you notice that. companies don't just magically become monopolies over night. they become monopolies when they buy enough politicians to make it illegal and/or unprofitable for us to make a competing company.
So the monopolies that were happening in the 19th century wasnt due to free market capitalism or laissez faire economics? How about kids working in factories or safety issues? Some would say without regulations that shit would still be going on, or companies would still be pouring nasty shit in our water or fucking up some other shit whether it be environmental or our health.
@scienceatheism do you even know what the word monopoly MEANS? when the term was first coined it specifically referred to a firm that enjoyed some government grant of exclusive privilege the use of the power of government on behalf of one or more special, private interests, to hobble or preclude competition. One step further in this direction, of course, is an actual government monopoly. examples include the Navigation Acts of 1651 or the Tea Act of 1773. there is another type, efficiency.
@cyberpsygen7 an efficiency "monopoly" is a situation where a company gets a high market share not because of any government grant of exclusive privilege, subsidy, special tax treatment, or the like, but because it simply does the best job. if they ever became sloppy and/or complacent, it would be like hanging out a sign reading "COMPETITORS WANTED," and that's precisely what it would get in an actual free market. this is all that is needed to protect against all the issues you are bringing up.
@scienceatheism if the government were smaller, like ron paul advocates, or non-existent, like i advocate, then they wouldn't be able to enforce barriers to entry. we would be able to make our own company and people could choose our product/service if they felt it was safer for the employees/environment. that is the beauty of an actually free market, and why our country was so great for so long. banks would not be a problem if we had sound money rather than debt based fiat currency.
@scienceatheism thank you for the compliment, i am usually alot more radical/biased/offensive, but i am toning it down since you aren't using strawmans and cussing me first as is often the case in a youtube "discussion". if the government didn't prop up the evil companies with tax breaks, insurance discounts for more than x employees, permit discounts, etc, AND if the media wasn't owned by the same evil companies and actually reported their problems, then they would fail in a free market.
@cyberpsygen7 lets look at walmart, a clearly evil company. walmart coming to town instantly closes half of the town's established small businesses. they offer everything you could buy from every store in town in one place at half price, but how? it is because their products are made with slave labor in china using poisonous materials and unsafe methods. they have separate assembly lines over there, one makes toys with lead based paint for us, the other uses safe paint for smart countries.
@cyberpsygen7 the government closed down a military base (built with tax dollars) in California with one of our only deep water ports on the pacific side and GAVE it to foreign investors so they could import their products cheaper. a new port is opening soon in Baja so that walmart can ship and store in mexico for even cheaper, and the government made deals (NAFTA, SPP, etc) to help them get across the border faster and cheaper. (while we are illegally griefed non stop 50 miles from border).
@cyberpsygen7 and the whole time all this is going on, we have our media completely forbidden from shedding light on these facts, much less criticizing them. in fact, politicians encourage us to "spend our way out" of a debt crisis. how do you solve a debt crisis by going deeper into debt? the thing is our leaders are globalists. they know exactly what their decisions are going to do, and they do non stop illegal insider trading based on it. they profit from destroying our country.
Well seeing that im a young student of Austrian school of economics i dont find the need to cuss out a fellow traveler. I just have a lot of questions and doubts, because the left has drilled it in me that Laissez Faire fucked us over big time. The Fed a perfect example of our Austrian Economics at work one left winger told me. They monopolized the printing of our money. Through deregulated capitalism. Im a young student so I didnt know how to respond to that.
@scienceatheism What are you talking about??? The Federal Reserve Bank is REGULATED by US law to perform the criminal function it does. Ron Paul wants to eliminate the Fed and especially its government-mandated authority to create new money out of thin air. Each increase in the money supply declared by fiat eats away at the value of the dollar while at the same time enriching the investment bankers who are given the new money to play with. It's the most corrupt system imaginable!
They all serve the same master and that is MONEY and POWER. The only difference is RON PAUL. He is the last politician i am willing to give a chance, and that's based solely on his track record. America needs this man to win the presidency.....The WORLD needs this man to win the presidency....or GOD HELP US ALL!!!!!
So George Bush and Big Willy Clinton are visiting Surrey, BC Canada today to give speeches. Surrey is one of the largest cities in the province (like an American state) where I live. Funny isn't it how a former Democratic & Republican president are doing the speaking circuit together, raking in the money, political differences thrown out the window.....oh wait, they really don't have any political differences. ITS ALL A BIG SCAM. NO MATTER WHICH WAY YOU VOTE YOU STILL GET SCREWED.
I like your observation. In magic stores, you can usually find a gag product called a "Fart in a Can". And I thought to myself, the two party system is just like a fart in a can. No matter what party gets in (analogous to "changing the label") you still have the same smelly stuff inside once you open the can. :) hehhehheh (same I think of Microsofts operating systems as well... thats an even better analogy, though.)

Ron Paul is the ideal politician nobody thought would ever exist.
TheCreatorOf4 4 days ago 2
As Canadians, I believe that we should create a movement to support Ron Paul (if there isn't one already [via Occupy?]) ... We must make this movement large enough that the international media will begin to take notice. We are at such a pivotal point in humanity ... a point of singularity in which we must make a stand to live for one way, or another. The choice we make this year (bless 2012) may change the course of future and usher us into a great world for the people, or for the world elites.
CaMb0s0Up 5 days ago
I'm from the UK and seriously Ron Paul is your chance America, he isn't going to live forever and with his ideas which actually click and make sense he WILL make the world better, hell the fact he's the only candidate I know of with people around the world supporting him says enough. He speaks the truth and has done for decades, so he isn't just pulling tricks out of a gat here. Vote Ron Paul America, get your freedom back.

SORRY...have to disagree with you on this. There is nothing iherently wrong with the free market system itself.......it is the PEOPLE that distort and corrupt the system not the other way around. Of course in any sort of capitalistic sysem there has to be rules and regulations in place to make sure that everybody 'plays fair' ....and i don't think Ron Paul is advocating a "dog eat dog" type of economic system.
juiceyjas23 1 week ago
@juiceyjas23 Well you are wrong. It's only with the coercive force of government that individuals can abuse an economy, and Paul knows that. He wouldn't deregulate everything in an instant but he does advocate moving in that direction. The idea you present of some kind of 'system' independent of the 'people' within it is totally artificial. There IS nothing wrong with free markets, full stop.
WalterLiddy 3 days ago
I am a Canadian and I do not support Ron Paul. While I agree with Dr. Paul's views on liberty and the protection of constitutional law, I cannot support his views on free market capitalism and I find it quite saddening that a man as intelligent as Dr. Paul could fall for the "free market" bullshit theory. The inherent flaws of capitalism are clear. Whether it comes in the form of corporatism, state capitalism or free market capitalism.

GINA7582 2 weeks ago

Look for this in YouTube: "RON PAUL SLAPS DOWN 911 TRUTHER QUESTION DURING S.C DEBATE". That's Paul - just like Obama - telling people to shut up about 9/11.
crazyforcanada 1 month ago
PAUL's stand on 9/11 is that "they" (the terrorists) are "over here" (in USA) because USA is "over there". On the basis of 9/11's being assumed to be OUTSIDE "terror", Paul thus runs his antiwar campaign... while simultaneously preserving 9/11 as a pretext for annexing Canada. He says, "stay out of nation-building", but he has not denounced NAU which would land the USA with Canada's trillions in land & resources to pay its bills to CHINA. I am no fan of RON PAUL. I am a sovereign CANADIAN.
crazyforcanada 1 month ago
Ron Paul has asked his followers who are seeking 9/11 truth to stop talking about it, if they "care for" him. He has openly said he doesn't think 9/11 requires a new investigation. 9/11 has been used not only to attack Iraq and Afghanistan, but to suck Canada into a North American security perimeter while integrating Canada's laws, judiciary, military and police into USA systems.

All I know is it is time for us to mind our own business.
papernpaste 3 months ago 32

Maybe because of his large holdings of precious metals?
cdmsr 3 months ago
@cdmsr Well if he is a large holder of precious medals like gold he sure isn't cashing in on them. They did a profile on all the GOP's candidates house/s and Ron Paul had the least expensive house (some had multiple) of all. His house is valued at $375,000 and its he and his wife have lived there for something like 25 years, and its where they raised all their kids. Anyways regardless of what you think about his policies/idea's there is no denying he is one of the only honest politician's left.
juiceyjas23 3 months ago
@juiceyjas23: Honest? He claims his antichoice stance stems from witnessing a late-term abortion during his medical residency. In a NY Times profile he is quoted: “It was pretty dramatic for me to see a two-and-a-half-pound baby taken out crying and breathing and put in a bucket.” That isn't an abortion -- it's a murder and it makes the doctor Paul and anyone else present an accessory. I call it a BS effort to justify a position at odds with his cultivated image as a libertarian.
cdmsr 3 months ago
@juiceyjas23 Paul needs to clarify his tale of witnessing infanticide: Who was the doctor who threw a "crying and breathing ... 2 1/2 lb. baby ... into a trash can"? And how can anyone support a man -- a doctor! -- who participated in this atrocity and did NOTHING about it?
The truth is late-term abortions do not have this horrendous outcome except in the fever dreams of antchoice fanatics and campaign blather of phony 'honest' politicians.
Paul needs to clarify this or admit it's false.
cdmsr 3 months ago
@cdmsr The source of Paul's tale of witnessing infanticide/late-term abortion during residency:

@rmondave Great comment. My fear however is that by then it will be to late due to his age and other factors. I totally believe this guy would actually try to do what he says. He seems so trustworthy to me. I wish he was a Canadian politician, I would be voting for him. Smart man.
cellogirl63 4 months ago 3
@cellogirl63 I feel exactly the same way. I've never been so sure that a politician will do what he says, and say what he does, then i have with Ron Paul. I've always been passionate about politics but not about POLITICIANS.....because the vast majority of them are corrupt, greedy people who just love power and don't really give a damn about the rest of us. With Ron Paul i know he is for the people!
juiceyjas23 4 months ago 3
What would you say to Liberals who worry about his Free Market Capitalism/Austrian Economics Ideals. The Privatization of mostly everything. Im a ron Paul fan to, I just like to hear different peoples opinion on the big issues.
scienceatheism 4 months ago
@scienceatheism if they are worried about ron paul's economic policy, then i would say they don't understand economics. keeping the government out of it keeps special interests from lobbying to creating barriers to entry against all competition. the government has no motivation to be efficient, if it goes over budget, they get a bigger loan, decreasing the value of your savings. private industry in a free market is what made this country so prosperous and "regulation" by the elite ruins that.
cyberpsygen7 4 months ago
How about regulations on banks? and how do we stop things like the BP oil spill from happening if there is no regulation? What would you say to those who bring up the Oil company that basically monopolizes oil but doing it in a back door way? Isnt the regulation on somethings important to the people seeing that a corporation can become to powerful. how about the argument that the government should monopolize natural resources for the better of the nation?
scienceatheism 4 months ago
@scienceatheism we live in a world with TONS of regulation. more regulations on a single industry than you could ever even read, much less understand and apply. how has it worked out so far? despite all the regulations, everything is still fucked up isn't it? agree you notice that. companies don't just magically become monopolies over night. they become monopolies when they buy enough politicians to make it illegal and/or unprofitable for us to make a competing company.
cyberpsygen7 4 months ago
So the monopolies that were happening in the 19th century wasnt due to free market capitalism or laissez faire economics? How about kids working in factories or safety issues? Some would say without regulations that shit would still be going on, or companies would still be pouring nasty shit in our water or fucking up some other shit whether it be environmental or our health.
scienceatheism 4 months ago
@scienceatheism do you even know what the word monopoly MEANS? when the term was first coined it specifically referred to a firm that enjoyed some government grant of exclusive privilege the use of the power of government on behalf of one or more special, private interests, to hobble or preclude competition. One step further in this direction, of course, is an actual government monopoly. examples include the Navigation Acts of 1651 or the Tea Act of 1773. there is another type, efficiency.
cyberpsygen7 3 months ago
@cyberpsygen7 an efficiency "monopoly" is a situation where a company gets a high market share not because of any government grant of exclusive privilege, subsidy, special tax treatment, or the like, but because it simply does the best job. if they ever became sloppy and/or complacent, it would be like hanging out a sign reading "COMPETITORS WANTED," and that's precisely what it would get in an actual free market. this is all that is needed to protect against all the issues you are bringing up.
cyberpsygen7 3 months ago
@scienceatheism if the government were smaller, like ron paul advocates, or non-existent, like i advocate, then they wouldn't be able to enforce barriers to entry. we would be able to make our own company and people could choose our product/service if they felt it was safer for the employees/environment. that is the beauty of an actually free market, and why our country was so great for so long. banks would not be a problem if we had sound money rather than debt based fiat currency.

You make a lot more sense then Noam Chomsky does. He argues out of emotion sometimes not logic.
scienceatheism 3 months ago
@scienceatheism thank you for the compliment, i am usually alot more radical/biased/offensive, but i am toning it down since you aren't using strawmans and cussing me first as is often the case in a youtube "discussion". if the government didn't prop up the evil companies with tax breaks, insurance discounts for more than x employees, permit discounts, etc, AND if the media wasn't owned by the same evil companies and actually reported their problems, then they would fail in a free market.
cyberpsygen7 3 months ago
@cyberpsygen7 lets look at walmart, a clearly evil company. walmart coming to town instantly closes half of the town's established small businesses. they offer everything you could buy from every store in town in one place at half price, but how? it is because their products are made with slave labor in china using poisonous materials and unsafe methods. they have separate assembly lines over there, one makes toys with lead based paint for us, the other uses safe paint for smart countries.
cyberpsygen7 3 months ago
@cyberpsygen7 the government closed down a military base (built with tax dollars) in California with one of our only deep water ports on the pacific side and GAVE it to foreign investors so they could import their products cheaper. a new port is opening soon in Baja so that walmart can ship and store in mexico for even cheaper, and the government made deals (NAFTA, SPP, etc) to help them get across the border faster and cheaper. (while we are illegally griefed non stop 50 miles from border).
cyberpsygen7 3 months ago

Im a young student so I didnt know how to respond to that.
scienceatheism 3 months ago

@juiceyjas23
