@LVsMcWormJr Well, since I guess it *may* be *a little* hard to meet in real life (but never say never), I meant to say that we could make "collaborative" covers by making vids of you playing guitar and singing and me playing bass - for example - and then putting them in a single video! It's possible, I already have a software on my computer that can make that. However, better if we talk about this when I get my camera and I am able to make new vids ;)

Sounds like an interesting idea, but yes, I agree that we should definitely discuss the little details first ;) (such as what song, who goes first, how do we maintain the same speed and rhythm, etc.). Personally, I wish I waited a bit more with this 'Dance' cover (until I got a better webcam and microphones, like I have now), and I should've rehearsed it some more, and brushed up my 'Rob impersonation' skills ;), but... what the heck. If it's good enough for the audience... ;)P

@LVsMcWormJr no no your cover is really well done! it's quite impossible to sing random while playin' guitar, except for some lucky guys like les claypool in "jerry was a racecar driver"! nomeansno record with multitrack system and so they can sing random more easily!

Anyway, it is not THAT impossible to sing random and out of rhythm, you just need a looot of practice (and a weird brain ;)p ). I've never seen NMN play this song live, though, so I have no idea if Rob sings it random himself, or if it was just in the studio like you say. Oh well, doesn't matter, I'll keep working on it, regardless ;)...

First off - thanks for the comment :).

Second - yes, I DO play this song in standard tuning, though I did get that 'deep' sounding bass-like effect with my guitar processor Zoom 505 (it's a bit old, and not all that useful, but at least it's got some 'octave' effect that I often use when playing certain NMN songs :). I also used it in my other 2 NMN recordings that I posted here on youtube - Machine and Disappear).

Anyway, as for the main riff, it's not all that hard to figure out... I think :). I learned this song a long time ago, so now I don't even remember if it gave me too much trouble back when I was learning it :).

Anyway, if you like, I could make and send you some sort of a 'tab' for this song, the way I play it, at least ;)...
