  • Awesome! If i get my chemicals ill try to make one

  • @Heliman96 Go for it, its not hard atall, remember to mount the motors good enough to the stick

  • is that det cord

  • awesome, great choice of music also. can't go wrong with planet p

    :)

  • These are really cool but I was sort of hoping to learn more about how to make one. I love watching them go off too but I hope eventually to get a little more on the how to as the title of the video led me to believe this would be.

  • @warthog62 Well first, do you know how to make a endburner rocket motor? I assume you do, like most of us pyros, this motor is a endburner, known? ok, then this is all you need to know/see, how to assemble them on the stick, the angles, that is the trick, i really dont think its needed to show how to press a straight ordinary endburner, if you dont know those basics, then thats were you need to start, youtube is full of films showing you how to build that motor.

  • @skyisthelimitinc yeah, I know how to make an endburner. Sorry to get back so late. What I was asking for was more on how to put the thing together properly, like the angles etc, so it would fly nice like you are getting yours to do. Of course I figured I would get some sort of reply like I got instead since I wasn't clear. Thanks though, I am sure to figure it out on my own and unlike you, I will share my experience. Cheers!

  • @warthog62 Oh, i see. The angles is adjustable as you can see, but 45 to 67 degree would do the trick, also how it is mounted on the stick gives it just enough tilt to make the spin, im sorry that you cant see from this film how its buldt, i really dont know what you wanted or expected to see, there is now other tricks to it then what you see here, exept that the engines are strapped on really good with steelwire, so the sentrifugal force doesnt rip the motors clean of when it starts to spin.

  • @skyisthelimitinc Did you see the whole film? the photo serie from the mounting starts at 1:39

  • @skyisthelimitinc THANKS! The angle was what I most needed. Sure, I could have experimented from what you showed (yes I did watch the entire video) but it would have been a guess. I do appreciate you answering me here. So many others just use some sort of vulgarity and tell me to sod off. It is refreshing to meet a good person on YouTube for once. Thanks again!

  • @warthog62 Good morning buddy! No problem atall telling you these things, i also know about those issues with lame replies, it is bad behaviour for sure, im glad i can help, just pm me if you need more "details", as i dont wanna go too far here in the public room with god knows who reads it. Cheers!

  • @robos234 Black powder rockets, endburners.

  • @skyisthelimitinc ok, thx

  • Beauty !

  • @robos234 Thanks alot!;)

  • wow

  • Awesome!

  • @AirrowRocket Thanks alot sir, very appreciated comment

  • I just HAVE to ask you about the song, it sounds so good :)

  • @pyr0ph1L No problem, the song is called "a letter from the shelter" from an album called Pink World, its a one man band called Planet P Project, the artist is Tony Carey.

If you like prog rock, this is a must have album in any decent music collection (IMO)

  • @skyisthelimitinc Thanks a lot man. I'm going to look for the album, because I really like that music. :)

  • @pyr0ph1L Sounds good, if you see my website you know were i find inspiration;)

  • @pyr0ph1L hehe, an error occured.lol! did you get it like 3 times?

  • That was radical.

  • @ExothermicVideos Thank you there;)

  • youre truly the master of these puppies. awesome job m8

  • Great effort. That worked really nice !!

I love the fvootage from underneath...thanks for sharing this.

I'm tempted to make one up myself...

  • Brilliant!!, are those Gerb tools you used?, and 60, 30, 10 ratio? Hope you don't mind me asking? Great video footage. Thanks for sharing

  • @MrMamatis Yes it is gerb tools, but the ratio is 75-15-10 and milled for a looong time, those endburners need very fast fuel

  • @skyisthelimitinc Thanks so much, I will start with 1/2 inch tubes, I do not have gerb tools, I will drill the nozzle out of the clay. 1/4 of the ID, 'correct'?

  • @MrMamatis That will work fine with very fast bp, this caduceus rocket was 20mm ID and 4mm nozzle, just hand drill the last mm trough the clay and a few mm into the bp, so the ignitor, or fuse get abit to bite;)

  • This is just great, man! Loved the setup and the lighting of the device! How you showed the second camera underneath being placed and recording started! Gives me chills! It's cool to see how a shot was setup! You can imagine how I setup some of my shots in my films! Great slo-mo at the end! Really an epic view! Thanks for sharing this!

  • @rovingrepairbot Thanks alot D, that cam has been taking alot of "fire" the past few years, it still runs smooth;)

Yes i can imagine how you setup your stuff, and i know, it is lots of work for minutes of film, but as the creators we are, its worth the effort;)

  • @skyisthelimitinc You're welcome! I know! I often worry about sparks burning my camera or scorching the lens! Yes, it is worth it! I should have some kind of handy glass shield to film through for my firework films, haha!

  • @rovingrepairbot Hehe, so true, i have a good plexi shield but i should use it more often;)

  • excellent work mate!!!

  • @TheMultiPyromane Thanks buddy, it turned out pretty ok;)

  • Nais rocket sir!

(But putting your camera directly underneath a homemade rocket hmmm....)

  • @anjin33 Thanks, and yes, im willing to make that sacrifice;)

  • fantastic

  • @kotlobay Glad you liked it

  • Nice :)

  • @Hausspion Thanks buddy, ill pm you some info

  • awesome

  • @3literv6 Cheers mate, thanks for the like;)

  • Awesome! The HS-footage was epic man. :D

  • @pyr0ph1L Aha, thanks, epic was good to hear;)

  • what is the angle at which you put the fountains?

  • @gahanx3 That is very adjustable, more angled, slower flight, these were around 50-60 degree, i do it by eye measure, so exact numbers are difficult to tell.

  • @skyisthelimitinc ok 10x my friend.. u think the lower you angle the fountains the lower it will fly

  • @gahanx3 If the engines are more to 45 degree, it will spin faster but rise slower, and look more girandola like;)

  • @skyisthelimitinc this type of rocket you made is very different from we usually see.. it is neither a rocket.. like you have a stick with a fountain.. nor a girandola.. it really interested me hehe

    good job my friend ;)

  • very nice rocket m8

that hs part makes it so artfull

    gj

  • @propyropower Thanks buddy, its a gamble when i lay the cam on the ground, if the rocket slightly goes to a side, it wont be captured on cam, lucky me;)

  • loved it,nice to see you doing pyro

  • @allrocketspsl Hey buddy, im not retired you know, had me a small break;)

  • @allrocketspsl Also, do you recognize the tubes buddy?;)

  • i like it :D

  • @californiapyro Thanks mate, i did too;)

  • that ground view is awesome

  • @smeagle9999 I was lucky with that ground cam;)

  • great rocket mate, it was perfect. great height and the Ti+C tail was nice... and welcome back!!

  • @vh718 Im happy with it, only one regret, i should wait 20 minutes, the tail would been more visible, but you know how it is, on the site, ready to ignite, who can wait;)

  • great job!!!.Loved the red fuse too!

  • @Mnemotron2010 Thanks for the nice words, red falling leaf fuse, looks good, burns slow.

  • @skyisthelimitinc yeah very nice fuse, unfortunately it's a bit difficult to find in europe

  • @Mnemotron2010 It is, i was lucky to get it, nowadays, with the incident here in norway, i would not dare to order more.

  • @skyisthelimitinc i can immagine...i thought you were american :)

  • wow, really good, didn't even need a payload to be cool ;D

  • @hamsterboy13 Thanks mate, i did add soundless Ti reports, very small ones;)

  • @skyisthelimitinc oh, right, didn't notice them teh first time!, btw that second cam was a really good idea! and dya mind me askin what the song wuz this tiem? (not PPP i presume :P)

  • @hamsterboy13 yes it was from same album, pink world by PPP,song "Letter from the shelter" and i always try to use atleast two cams

  • @skyisthelimitinc thx, and again, GJ

  • looks very very good, great extra footage, always miss that in videos

  • @barrettrifles Thanks buddy, yea, i got many questions about the how to, so i added the pics

  • what a comeback! great flight mate :)
