@ItHurtsWhenIPee100 thats pretty cool there was songs they wrote as they were still on tour with facelift in 1990. just shows how professional and smart they are at creating songs
@jimjabbad Over time he was able to perfect his vocals. Go watch and listen to the live Jools Holland 93 video of Would. even in 92 he had already almost perfected it.
@gibsonguitar11 It hurts to see layne so destroyed during the unplugged version. But personally I enjoy listening to the unplugged version of "would?" over any other rendition
91 and before his voice was amazing could tell that during 92/93 must have been when he started the drugs as his voice wasn't as good more so on the unplugged same really could be amazing now.
aic is the greatest band ever BUT, did any1 hear that crack in the last BAAEEECK THEN.crack!!! i luv it . it means he s human! i was begining 2 wonder. oh and the rio show in92 or 93 i feal so bad 4 him, his voice goes out on like the 3rd song but still sticks it out! RESPECT
is true, when he sings love, hate, love in rio, he had to make a big effort to sing the chorus, but it doesn´t matter, he was the best and no one will replace him
his voice was definitely better back in the day, like 90-92, but if u listen to love, hate, love from the live CD from 1993 he hits all the notes very nicely..
this probably one of the first times they ever played it live ... so dont expect it to be anything really.... ever heard old aic demos most are twice the speed of the album versions
Yes and I think they had JUST written Would. I looked around and I think they had only played it in concert maybe once or twice before this show. Just awesome. As is this hole concert which I found in its entirety. Love the internet.
They are definately worth seeing but layne will never be replaced no matter who comes to fill in, but they are still doing wat they do best....playing great music
does any one know if the new lead singer is any good? nobody can replace layne. But are they worth seeing now? i have a chance to go to see them so i was wondering if its worth the cash.
Although there tour has ended, when they tour again they are definitely worth seeing. William is great. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't seen them with William.
Amazing. Layne is the only singer besides Peter Murphy (Bauhaus) and Thom Yorke (Radiohead) who sound as good or better live than in the studio......RIP
haha the best way to put it, just came to me, you guys are trying to compare the two awesomely alike games pac man and ms pac man. both are awesome. everyone likes both of them. theyre practically the same
nirvanas great... i dont think you can decide between the two bands, whos better, i mean cobain and the occasional grohl backup to staley and cantrell, its impossible. aic is underrated either way, though
Cantrell and Staley are such a sick duo. Like the vocals they pull off together are sweet, and they look so grateful to be working together. It's wicked.
I second what¿s been said here, if they hadn't existed at the same time as Nirvana they would've gotten a lot more credit. They deserved more... RIP Layne.
my fucking face when i jizz when layne hits those falsettos unf
