The only war we lost was an assymetric one (in other words, Americans decided "well, screw this, it just ain't worth it!"). I seriously doubt any army could defeat ours in a total war. Heck, if we went to war with say, China (another huge world power), we'd probably win, albeit suffering from GREAT losses.

@DanielAvelan you cant play one without the other. they are both so good. also unlike what the reviewer said. there IS skill in this game you just have to figure it out. button mashing is not the way to go!

Yes you should, especially if you can play it with a friend split-screen. The battle system has surprisingly much depth. Fights have tension that's missing from most games: You can still win while you're on dead's door, cos the fights are never over until someones dead.
This is worse than part 1 in my opinion. The combos do not run as smoothly and the instant kill grab is kinda dumb to me, final strikes were better and less broken in my eyes. Not to mention the insanely inaccurate projectiles that miss players at point blank range standing still.
@Operation116 There is not. There is braveheart, genghis khan, hannibal, alexander the great, atilla the hun, sun tzu, vlad the impaler, and hanen cortes. There is joan of arc in a dlc. There is also an unlockable army commando but thats about it.

@29zombiekiller Max Geiger was replaced because Max was a fraud due to the fact that he claimed he had written and developed a combat program by himself that was actually the work of someone else, Slytherin Studios and upon inspection the took the program from an RTG Great Battles of Roam and used different military figures to determine the outcome of each battle. As for Mach I don't know why they chose him.

IGN fuck you. This was a terrible review. You guys are so biased it's disgusting. All you do is review games and compare them to other games rather than actually review them. And try to do more than 10 fucking minutes if research before reviewing a game. 4-5 hits is a kill, no matter what, and it's important to pace yourself and not leave yourself open. Can someone give me some feed back in the next game i would like them to bring the favorites of this game and the favorites of this new season of deadliest warrior into the next game. Yet there is one thing they are forgetting X Factors they preach almost 1/4 or the show of a leaders XFactor why not have these incorporated into the next game as like a perk. For example if one knows how to use a firearm why not add a 15% damage increase from firearms or something of those grounds?

everyone to unlock the challenges:survival,slice,survival slice,and target. You have to beat the game with everyone. then get to 25 on survival slice with any characters to unlock their joke weapons. example: the fish for the "If anyone kahn, Genghis Kahn" achievement.
this is a good game there needs to be more players online.. i think somethings wrong with ranked games so just do tournament its the same thing. but i like it because it kind of reminds me of hero games..each char has its own set of combos to master and you do have a parry to avoid and counter button mashers. it balances good because the chars with not so good stats have awesome combos to make up for it. but i do think william wallace is pretty cheap. so dont play him plz
@RandomsDeagled That could really apply to any character given the game. Sure theres the quick kill, but at least in this game theres none of those cheap strategies like blocking the whole time and running down the clock with a couple weak attacks to just barely win.
Well considering I am of Scottish descent and the claymore is one of my favorite medieval weapons that's going to be hard for me to comply with.. But I agree, he does have a long reach and high lethality rate.

I dont think this game is capable of taking down fighting gods like street fighter or mortal kombat, but i still think the game is very fun and has a lot of content built around it, it has generals mode challenges that will give you new silly weapons like a dead fish, zombie fights and fighting as william wallace is awesome.

everyone to unlock the challenges:survival,slice,survival slice,and target. You have to beat the game with everyone. then get to 25 on survival slice with any characters to unlock their joke weapons. example: the fish for the "If anyone kahn, Genghis Kahn" achievement.

this is a good game there needs to be more players online.. i think somethings wrong with ranked games so just do tournament its the same thing. but i like it because it kind of reminds me of hero games..each char has its own set of combos to master and you do have a parry to avoid and counter button mashers. it balances good because the chars with not so good stats have awesome combos to make up for it. but i do think william wallace is pretty cheap. so dont play him plz

William is pretty bad, but Alexander the great can just keep pressing X with the sword and kill them.
This game is so much fun, but it's so unforgiving.

@RandomsDeagled That could really apply to any character given the game. Sure theres the quick kill, but at least in this game theres none of those cheap strategies like blocking the whole time and running down the clock with a couple weak attacks to just barely win.

Well considering I am of Scottish descent and the claymore is one of my favorite medieval weapons that's going to be hard for me to comply with.. But I agree, he does have a long reach and high lethality rate.

@ermineking88 both him and alexander the great are pretty cheap imo, wallace is because he has a 3-hit combo that can break through anyones shield and/or kill them. and alexander the great can just "a" move the whole time

I think that the company that makes the deadliest warrior games should consider making a deadliest warrior game with just guns. With out the swords, bows, and staffs sort of what they have do with recent games. The next and probably last game should have just guns and 5 combatants just like in the show. Sort of straying away from recent gameplay and would probably play just like the scenarios in the show. It should be called Deadliest Warrior modern soldiers.

I dont think this game is capable of taking down fighting gods like street fighter or mortal kombat, but i still think the game is very fun and has a lot of content built around it, it has generals mode challenges that will give you new silly weapons like a dead fish, zombie fights and fighting as william wallace is awesome.
