  • keep it diesel

  • Fantastic looking car.

Word on the (London England) streets' is' it'll cost around £17.000.

Bit slow for such a great looking babe mag!

  • i hope it's around $25,000~$28,000. It's a little difficult for me to justify it if it's over $30,000..

  • The torque will lauch that small car off the line.

  • Great car, and if it ever hit the US side it will be a huge success with a TDi engine, tuned for performance and getting over 40mpg on the highway is something a gas engine just can't deliver ever, so i'm all for the diesel engine with cleaner burning technology and the advancement of the more efficient fuel. Awesome, just get it state side.

  • Of course this is aiming at the MX5. If people can't see it, they're either blind or know nothing about cars. About the diesel engine, given the economical crisis and the uncertainty surronding petrol in the future, I think it's a good idea. VW just has to work on the engine sound and the power (2L can give way more than 180hp...). VW will announce its formal production in the end of March.

  • it won't be aiming at the MX-5 because it will be in a totally different class, the BlueSport will be much more expensive, probably around 30-35,000$. It won't be an econo roadster.

  • but isn't that Audi TT territory? I thought it would be cheaper than it's brother.

  • this eez a vary preety caar

  • i hate vw. they always make a lot of hot concept cars and then never put them into production. but the cc does look different so maybe they're going to try going in a new direction, and hopefully build this. i really hope so anyways.

  • I emailed VW and they told me that it is up for production, just not for North America.

    so.. that sucks

  • Are you freakin' serious? Not again!

  • yeah, it's not even going to be in the USA

not any roadster, any time soon

  • Other than the Honda S2000 I hate roadster/ cabriolets. BUT this VW is awesome. Its like an upgraded TT with hints of the S2000. Love it.

  • Yay! I keep waiting for a VW to go on sale with its engine somewhere other than the front!

Hopefully a pop-top rear-engine bus will come along eventually too...

I'm not particularly in love with this new direction VW is taking with the front grill/lights. We've seen this on the Scirocco and new Golf/Rabbit too.

  • I'd love to own a car like that, but let's be honest more than half of the cars companies make that are roadsters make it out to production.

  • It looks hela sik and probably gets good milage

  • wow it looks nice VW should put it into production

  • i want one!

  • thats really hot

  • boring...

  • woooooooooot
