@SkySpartan117 i think it is spider capos - u can lock particular strings with it and not only one bar as with normal capo..i think now u know why there are 2 of them:)
i have never heard anyone like this ive heard some good ass shit before but no one touches this kids talent fucking amazing.. and those harmonics are amazing
quite a few guitarists invent tunings, as they write songs they realise it would be easier to play if they move this string to a lower note etc... look at thomas leeb's tunings they're weird as
so i know that he's doing artificial harmonics with his right/picking hand but what the heck is he doing with his right hand? it BOGGLES THE MIND!?! seriously though what is he doing and how do you do it?
A harmonic is essentially any point on the string where it has been perfectly divided. (By half, by quarters, or any divisible portion you see fit) by changing the end node of the string with his fretting hand, he is essentially changing the harmonic nodes of the string, which he then plucks with his picking hand. However, I could be, and probably am, wrong. Whether I am or not, I hope I was at least somewhat helpful. :)
take a real close look, he's at the same time picking the harmonic as well. place with pointer finger where you want your harmonic and with some dexterity use your ring finger to pluck the string.
Dynamic way since this frees up your fretting hand
Mozzart had his Orchestra, you have your guitar. I'm always blown away by this amazing music. I love it, I wish I had even a quarter of that talent. ^.^ God bless and keep up the awesome work.
youre right, i know antoine dufour is canadian and i think even don ross and his wife brook miller (also amazing singersongwriter) are too. justin taylor is from south africa and im sure several others.
And are your 2 capos cut to specifically let certain strings ring out or is the one at the 2nd fret merely there to aide in string dampening? either way I'll say it again this is bloody brilliant and wonderful
They probably are to hold certain chord positions while keeping the tuning he requires to do all the harmonics and stuff.
Also, you don't have to get a custom-cut capo, there's something call the third hand capo that allows you to capo any combination of strings and even change it mid-song. Look it up on ebay, think I'll get myself one soon.
you need to seriously make an American tour and come to Seattle...i could sit and listen to this for hours...maybe even join in and add a little second harmony to your beautiful music...eh? this was wonderful..
You and Mark Kroos need to get together and jam.

@Flash447 Actually, those particular capos are third hand capos. They operate by rotating discs to fret certain strings.

T-Cophony is in a class of his own.
Its not whether one guitarist is "better" than another.
The thing to realize is, he literally INVENTS Tunings.
I don't know of any guitarist on earth that is so innovative.
The music is so very modern in its approach.
I wish i could learn to invent like he does.
