@5:31 - was that a really close call or did it just look close?

That was a VERY close call. The boat was not yet in a position that allowed me to see a good line for landing so my approach was off. The plane was within two feet of hitting that tree. I hit 100% throttle and gave full elevator and cleared that tree by the skin of my teeth.

Awesome!  Beautiful flight. But, I have to admit, knowing it was over water made me a bit nervous. I had to keep reminding myself that I was watching the footage that was shot, so, all was ok. lol

I had a similar nervous feeling while flying and was very relieved to have landed safely!
