Obama promised not to sign major legislation until it had been posted on the Internet for public reading at least five days, Trusting voters took him at his word. Now "The People" know better. Not only is the actual language of what is likely to become the main legislative vehicle for Obama's signature health care reform not available on the Internet, it hasn't been given to the (CBO), only a 262-page description of the bill's provisions available. Bill descriptions mean nothing and bind nobody.
What's a doctor for again..., I even fix my own broken bones, as any animal in the wild..., you should learn more about your bodies and taking care of them, it's a marvelous machine. Fast for 30 days and tell me how it went. If water fasting is too much, try a week on juice only and see how you do.
I think Congress needs to PROVE to the American people that they can actually LOWER THE COSTS IN THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM WE HAVE NOW - FIRST. Before they even dream we will allow them to expand the health care system. There is nothing cost reductive in this bill. They need to fix what we currently have - medicare, medicaid - and sane regulation on the insurance companies and allow the over 1000 insurance companies to compete across state lines.
"Big insurance"/ "big govt"...same thing, just a different bureaucracy...accountants and actuaries making medical decisions...in case you don't understand the difference though: if you don't like what an insurance company is doing, YOU CAN LEAVE IT AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE....not so with "big govt".

Death Squad? A death squad is having to wait 18 months for an operation in Canada. Check the news, though, buddy. The insurance companies are signing on with Obama. These are grass-root activists who don't want to have to subsidize another Amtrack, Post Office, Medicare, Social Security boondoogle. Are you on the dole, by the way?
Not a good reference. Canada does not list a child a live birth until it survives for 2 weeks, also if it is born 26 or more weeks early, unlike the US which counts any live birth, thus risking a higher infant mortality rate due to the high risk births.
Poke holes in the numbers. But since we do spend nearly 3 times that of Canada - I would think our numbers either equal or beat Canada (no matter what the measure).

I've been a Democrat since 1980 but I'm shocked that this party could propose such a monstrosity of tyranny. It is the most oppressive law that has ever been written in the history of this country.
