It is sad that everything Ron Paul has said has become true. The Western economy may go in a depression soon, politicians now don't even try to follow any laws when declaring wars on foreign nations, the West is less free than ever and tensions are high in the Middle East so a big war may be near. I don't want to know what the world will look like in 4 years if you Americans don't elect Ron Paul in 2012. Please, for our future, elect that man.

The FED doesnt really represent the market. They make their decisions which always seems to benefit walstreet more than the common man. The ramant inflaction of the currency makes it mathematically impossible for someone with a middle class income to save enough to retire upon.

At least if it were tied to gold I could go trade in my dollars for gold, let the goverment inflate all it wants, and go trade my gold in for even more dollars later on.

We didn't have drug laws for most of our history. Do you honestly believe that you can treat a social/medical problem with force and locking people up in prison. We don't lock people up for alcoholism.

The legal system is failing miserably regarding the drug problem. Alcohol and nicotine are very destructive drugs but are legal. Prohibition failed when it was attempted. The law doesn't deter people from it so we are just wasting good assets trying to enforce the drug laws while we could be spending those assets on other deterrents.

The legal system has nothing to do with the solving the drug problem, it is only a response. Humans have an innate need to be intoxicated, that won't go away, but the goal of educating people to make rational decisions is the future and the hope.

Things are no where near fine. Most people my age are no where near where their parents were at at my age. I was told go to school get a good education and get a good job and I will make it. I was the first in my family to school got opressivly in debt, got a job which isnt even related to my degree, which is more often the case than is not and the goverment, banks, and infaltion are eating my family alive. This country is seriously ill.

Ron may or may not be nostalgic, but he does raise an important point; the need to follow proper procedure and the rule of law. If we are to have a government it ought to operate within a set of well established guidelines. We already have a framework available to us; it would be advantageous if we followed it and sought to change it via the proper procedures.

It was a creative splice of two events. The audio I got from watch?v=XtQjJ5B0wNc where US soldiers get trapped in a building under IED fire. Unfortunately the video is crappy.

The video i got from watch?v=CA-FUDS7TLA where a US convoy got ambushed by and IED attack. It had more language in it that I wanted in my video so I borrowed the audio from one and the video from the other.
