  • dude thats mad weird

  • my tarantula died yesterday.. it just died after a few minutes he moved.. maybe he's weak already when i checked him,,, he was a lasiodora difficilis and 7" in size a mature male.. i was really wondering why he died in fact i fed him a week ago... i did put a new water dish earlier that day when he died but when i checked later to give him a cricket.. no movements and when i tried to handle, he's already dead. too bad... what shall i do to preserve him? does freezing still apply?

  • ever think of using dry ice and venting the carbon dioxide into it's enclosure. It is a much less painful way to go, you know, like going to sleep so to speak. Just a thought.

  • You animal rights pussies need to shut the fuck up. Did you watch the video, or are you too busy shitting bricks to the concept of freezing an animal? He even provided an explanation: It was a humane way to alleviate its suffering.

But no, you animal rights subhumans are never satisfied. You misanthropes. Shut the fuck up, nobody gives a sad shit about a spider. When he freezes a spider, what do you do? Bitch. If he posted a video of a spider eating an insect, you will do the same.

  • @rtfrmko Thank you, brother. These morons will never shut up in our over-politically correct world we live in today.

  • Tell me, what did you do with the poor little guy? Display him?

  • srry u had to freeze had to do it to mine. it was my first spider to.

  • That's sad. I'm sorry that you had to do that to your spider but I know you were thinking of the spider's welfare.

  • Thank you for posting this video. I've been into this hobby for about half a year now and this video was helpful. I learned something new.

  • I'm glad you posted a video on this. Many would not touch this subject but its a reality. Thank you.

  • i appreciate the comment. i think that people should be open to this topic because every keeper has to go through this one day

  • @talon4wd I know, Death is a good thing sometimes.....Thats what im tryna tell my friends but they just dont belive me..

  • Just to let you know if you do this again.. always put in fridge first then freezer. alot less painful cause they wont go into shock

  • i have read through various breeder articles that just put them directly in the freezer

  • no that is the point. the cold of the freezer slows their metabolism until they die and the reason of doing this process is because it doesn't cause pain. arachnids won't feel pain from this. i looked at him and i clearly saw from his position that he was not in pain.

  • make sure u plaster it so it dont get freezer burnt :P lol
