the other horse doesn't even need explaining. it was annoyed from the start. it knew you were coming and was hoping you wouldn't mount it. you do. so it stands up, flicks tail and ducks poll (like the other) but instead refrains to the opposite defense system a horse has. bucking. thank you for attending my class. let me go through the process with you. I'm an expert in this division so don't bother fighting it. you get on the horse, pat it and rock back and forth. this annoys the horse, so it rolls so the side and shakes its head, ears back, trying to dismount you (successfully). when you get back on. it gets up. throws it's tail (sign of annoyance) ducks it's poll with ears back, sign of anger. then the horse runs forward, without your command. to get away from you. fight it all you want. it's wrong.
@MyHorsePrince I dont know how the hell you can call yourself an 'expert', you spend most of your day on ytube critting real horse people, If your so great and an expert then why cant you even ride properly? Your bouncing around all over the place and your poor horse doesn't have a clue what your asking it to do. @cassiemyclyde actually, I don't go around trying to make people feel like shit. but when they realize that I have discovered the flaw in their 'horsemanship', they become defensive (you are a great example) and try to insult me. basically, I make you feel bad so you try and make me feel bad. but, within the few that I do confront, I do get through to a few people. and that's worth the time. this wasn't unfortunately, but maybe without me knowing, you'll start working on that trust issue.

this is just dumbheaded. the first horse showed signs of wanting to buck (as you see it duck it's poll and head and take a step back) then it decided it would try to run away from the problem. the second horse decided they weren't going to be as compliant. haha. so stupid, some people.

Had her since she was 5 months old and shes almost 6 and never ever bucked or reared no matter what i do to her. I run and jump on them while they graze loose in the field and get them to stand side my side and i walk from one to the other with out them moving. Second horse still does this. cont....

omg i love being on the horses when they get up. plus it is fine if you don't wear a helmet. they trust you and you trust them enough, and that is one of the glory's of having a bond with your horse. i personally love being on my horse without a helmet.

@SxiiEmiixx um..just to point this out in a calm and as non- abrassive way as possible. 1st your mum is the vet.not you 2nd i have seen horses take sever kicks to the ribs and hocks and not be harmed past flesh wounds no bone damage done so i doubt letting them stand slowly will cause them harm unless they are malnuished which these are not.3rd i showed mu horse of proudly even after he had sever arthritus.we just put him down this past week it was sad but he lived a full life of 30yrs

Sitting on a horse while they get up is fine. It doesnt hurt them when they are finished growing, as Millie and Lewi are.
My dad is a vet, and he has never said such a thing.

@SxiiEmiixx um..just to point this out in a calm and as non- abrassive way as possible. 1st your mum is the vet.not you 2nd i have seen horses take sever kicks to the ribs and hocks and not be harmed past flesh wounds no bone damage done so i doubt letting them stand slowly will cause them harm unless they are malnuished which these are not.3rd i showed mu horse of proudly even after he had sever arthritus.we just put him down this past week it was sad but he lived a full life of 30yrs

@ZeldyZeZebra i have NEVER heard this rule that people aren't supposed to get near a horse when they are laying down...we have trained many horses to lie down so that my sister can get up on them,she has scoliosis...(sp check plz lol)...and doesn't have enough muscle to get on them herself or even with a leg up.so i should hop this hasn't been made law*heavy sarcasm there* also there is a naturalist training that has you roll the horse on its back and straddle its belly thats much more dangerous
