  • Is that a Jewish plane?

  • No...German.

  • nice plane

  • Beautiful bird. Looks kind of strange with those three bladed props though instead of the two bladers.

  • Hmm Why nose engine :P

  • Happy Birthday Hugo Junkers! You and the "Tante JU" will never forget!

    Greetings from Germany

  • Good Lord that is one fine lookin plane :D

  • This aircraft was built in 1926 and has 3 PWC junior WASP 425 HP engines.

  • Sorry, you are not right with the date.

The first Ju 52s hat just one engine in the nose and carried cargo. The Ju 52/3m came in 1932 and could carry about 18 passengers.

One of them, built in 35 as far as I know was first owned by Lufthansa, then sold to Norway, captured in 1940, flown by the Luftwaffe, later sold to the USA, got new engines there, was rebought by Lufthansa and painstakingly restored in the mid 8os.

    Its code is D-AQUI.

  • And if you want to be exactly correct this aircraft was built in 1936.

  • Nice bird. Could this video be redone with max audio quality? Sound is the nicest feature of a radial.

  • Sorry, it has been photographed with a Canon Ixus Camera. I do not think there is any option improving the sound.
