I admit it's not hard to play if you're a good guitar player, but that's not the point. Hate all the guitar players who just strut with their tricky, endless solos which bring nothing to the song. The Strokes understood a great solo is short, fast, and that it has to sound good. Who cares if it's hard to play or not ?

correct. also there are little variations in the "oh no"s and jules misses the beat just slightly at 1:48. this is the best band i've ever seen in recreating their album sounds live. for some bands that gets boring, but for the strokes, it really works. probably because their albums are so good.
