He "led convoys" in Ambush Alley in Iraq? This is an exaggeration. Pat Murphy was a JAG officer in Iraq, not a person who led convoys--unless he means that he happened to be in the vehicle in the front. Junior JAG officers don't normally lead troops in combat.

Murphy spent the his entire 3 month tour in the Green Zone where he represented Iraqi's who sued the US Army.

He never shot a gun while in Iraq. The closest he came to action was when he "heard" gunfire while driving back from Baghdad Airport. He radioed the noise, and was awarded some type of medal for that heroic action.

Murphy has got to stop pretending he was a combat soldier. He "john kerry'd" his way thru Iraq with the sole purpose of running for Congress when he returned home.

Equally, unlike President Bush, Murphy knows the horrors of war, especially one based on lies, deceit, dishonor, and immorality. The next step is to restrict funding to allow President Bush to send thousands more American troops into the killing fields of Iraq's 1000+ year old tribal Civil War.
