@piplup21100 That's the neutral-hero ending. This is the semi-hero ending. There's a difference.=)

@piplup21100 The real Shadow didn't die...He had amnesia and I guess Dr. Eggman made clones of him...As he doesn't know who he is. A part of it is kind of involved with Sonic Heroes..(SPOILER) In the end, Rouge finds a lot of clones in Eggman's secret compartment, and out of one of them is the real Shadow, possibly the one they did the adventure with...Heh....I guess this doesn't make much sense. I'm a little confused myself...
