only what was meant to be on the album, for the concept, was included on the album, some of the more "radio friendly" material, like this song, was the last of the songs the band recorded for interscope at the start of the Paria sessions

once they lost their contract, they abandoned those songs in favor of something less radio geared and more artistically driven

so the new album is 100% the bands vision, their new label has no say in music making, they simply act as a distribution vehicle

really? well its only the first listen, sometimes it can take a few listens until you can decide how you truly feel but for me the new album is so fresh and clean i think its really neat, but i still think there should have been a few more songs :D my favorite is probably "Cartoon Showroom"

The new album is amazing start to finish. If you are a fan of dredg there is no way you won't like the album. Give it a chance, it is some of their best songwriting to date.

@E5CAP3ART15T Totally, at first I was suspicious of the latest album. Though it's like a jigsaw. Working out the song meanings, matching it with the flow of the song, recognising the artwork and how you interpret the meaning yourself. Then after a few times listening to the new album it all blends together. I really like the Stamp of Origin pieces. Especially Horizon which just sums up the full album with some awesome quotes from each. If you are a dredg fan you have to like the old and new!

yeah this song sounded like a winner, even if it was just one of the 2 minute ones. Hopefully they release a B-Side album, that would be saaaweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Exactly. From what I've heard of the new stuff, this one has my favorite melody out of all of them. Lots of emotion here. And Time Will Tell. And Push Away. All of the B-Sides would've fit perfectly with the album instead of some of the stuff I've heard X(

maybe they'll have a special editon album with extra songs and it will be one of them but even then, it is still a solid album after listening to it a few times.

Oh no doubt. The album's solid. I'd personally rank it 2nd. Below El Cielo. Some of the B-Sides I feel could've 'accentuated' the album more, if that makes sense :)

March 24 is the official date. they had flyers up at the show i went to a few weeks ago.

And no, I highly doubt this is the full song. Sounds like a bridge. Hopefully it makes the album.

i read it on some forum, I google searched "Here's to bleeding wounds, here's to forward thought," and the lyrics came up. I guess, you know it was just some forum and wasnt a valid source but after listening to it a couple times again i think that that is what he really says
