American Idol is just not completely abou t singing, it about the entertainment. Sanjaya was a good entertainer, young , dynamic and most importantly he had the guts to try something different everytime. just imagine being in his shoes at his age infront of everyone and knowing that Simon and other judges do not like him, he always tried to do his best. His studio download of this song was actually pretty good. I know it's easy to say, well, it's easy to get it right in the studio. But he totally nailed it in the studio! I only wish he could have brought more of that to the live performance that night. I've actually come to love it better than Bonnie Riatt's version; it's bouncy and catchy and Sanjaya's voice does it justice. I know this wasn't his best AI performance by a long shot.
