You forgot to refactor, dude! :) TDD = write a failing test + write simplest code to pass the test + **refactor to remove duplication**

The basics of TDD are very easy to learn. It's taking that next step and being able to apply to all of the typical problems found in programming.

I'm currently building an app that send a lot of information to and from a COM object and applying TDD reduces productivity about tenfold. (at least)
