  • Brilliant post !!. Thank you for sharing.

  • I was just listening to "Beginning to see the light" on a 33 rpm LP my mother sent me. Best of the Big Band Singers...every song has the date that it was recorded. Beautiful!

  • Thanks, Joan. Added this to my Harry James & 1945 playlists! My 550 playlists are your time machine for the music of any year, 111 lists for every year since 1945, and 330 more lists for great artists like Harry James. Also added it to my Big Band Favorites playlist. Chuck

  • @chkjns -- You may add my channel to your time travel, buddy. -- And yes, this is a very swingin' and also very funny track. Kitty could surely make you go crazy for her. Thanks for uploading!

  • @KaRidder234 Thanks for drawing me back with your response. Realplayer's latest update is letting me download any video on youtube, so glad I captured this one for good! I've added 200 more playlists since my last message - hope you have time to take a look. Thanks again for the great music here! chuck

  • I have the 78 - really love Kitty kallen - When is someone going to make a biopic of her life? She was set for super stardom with a tv series & film cameos but she had a breakdown of some sort. Kind of what Rosie Clooney went through with all of the stress

  • I discovered this song on SiriusSattelite but now Im realizing something creepy here because I know this song isnt the only one but I guess it must be a coincedence that 11:60 turned the other way becomes 9/11.

  • Love this one.

  • I wonder what time is 11:60pm !! :p i luv her music!!

  • 12:00am??? :p is that how they called it back then? 11:60?

  • another great one , Joan.

  • Kitty Kallen really made the men and women go crazy with this one back in 1945. It was my favorite song that she did along side It's been a long long time during World War 2.

  • I have this record on a 78. It is rare nowadays.

  • A great song that really allows Kitty Kallen to show off her talented voice. Thanks!

  • I remember my friend told me that her daughter fell in love at a dance party in the mid 1940's. I was born in 1900 and my friend was born in 1902.

  • @dianamaryflorence wow!!! 1900!!? that is soo awesome! God bless you for many more years to come!

  • Why have I not heard this before? Is it rare?
