I wouldn't question Grace's vegetarianism, perhaps she just doesn't like the texture of meat so doesn't eat it and that is why she happy to eat things that are cooked in animal fat etc. I am a vegetarian and hate having to justify it and Grace shouldn't have to either, I don't question anyone's dietary preferences because quite frankly I don't care what you eat.

Just curious, are you really a vegetarian? And if you are, for what reason? :) I'm a vegetarian & I'm also pretty "liberal" when it comes to special occasions-- my boyfriend's mom always cooks chicken-less chicken pot pie for me on Christmas Eve, but still uses chicken stock because it tastes like straight butt if it's made with vegetable broth.
