Well, I love to watch Rom entertainers --especially the violinists. Her clothes and style of singing remind me of India somewhat and she is one hell of a good singer too.

Singing reminds me of Northern India but the Rom have made something very special from that kind of music.

The Germans apparently had nothing against Roms but disliked gypsies ( There IS a difference). Roms are good people who mainly entertain and work hard and tell fortunes and there are gypsies who steal and con. My Rom friends NEVER did that. They owned businesses and told fortunes and made LOTS of money honestly entertaining.Roms have honor.

Carmen of Opera fame was a Spanish Gypsy! In Slavonic, Gypsies are called "Tsiganye". They are also referred to as the "Roma" people.

One thing most people don't know is that the Nazis slaughtered them too, perhaps as many as a million. Just like the Jews, they were considered "Human Vermin!" What a tragedy for all concerned.
