@rsiboy87 pretty sure its a turbo. its an ISF, yes, but modififed. i saw it at the cleveland autoshow. i believe it was modded to be a drift car, though i doubt they actually used it for drifting. i think i took a picture of the specs, so if you want i can send it to you
Once all this has been done properly. Your gain should take you to around 333 to 335hsp rating, 294 to 298 at the crank. Torque gain will vary depending on how much weight you can shed without ripping your beautiful Lexus to shreds. Most of the time you'll see 298 to 310 ft lbs of torque. As you can see the number's are very balanced and produce reliable power in the 300 range at the crank. That reliability will let you kill, older Vettes, new Porsche's, Audi's, any Acura, a lot of Bmw's. etc.
The best way to gain reliable usable power and not totally ruin your IS350, you ask?
1st Long tube Race header's. 2nd True dual all the way with high flow cat's. Simple blot on IS cold air intake. Keeps the factory look and keeps the value of the car intact. Reduce weight with forged wheels. Weight loss can add tremendous torque gain, quicker launches. Lastly take your car to a reputable dealership and have them re-map your ECU after it's been dyno'd extensively, both cold and hot run's.
Um. Where's the turbo? Factory IS-F's are not turbo charged. You can buy them in Japan for about $13,000 grand. They will not work though if yours has been programmed to the American ECU spec's. Re-mapping and force booting your ECU is impossible. Take it from me. In spite of alot of people that swear they have a turbo lexus. A Tom's supercharger is not the same as a Turbo! Period. By the way the Tom's supercharger is a complete waste of time and money too.
Beautiful colour and body kit but those rims sux big times
