If God wanted to save every single person, then he would have. God's saying to Christians that he wants all saved is simply a general "all types or kinds of men" to be saved. Does God want all the men in hell to be saved? Or all those whom will never believe? Or does he want to save but cant because mans will is too strong? The Timothy text cannot mean every single person, but only in general is such a statement made. Those ordained to condemnation God does not save.
Yes, but thank God "who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." 1 Tim 2:4.
And we are to plead with all men with the Holy Spirit :
"Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God." 2 Cor 5:20
