    Personally, I hate his hair, but this series would look much more better in high quality (note how I merged two subjects into one like that)

  • Did anyone happen to notice that the Butterfly chick (shown during the special ending of Episode 4) is NOT in the park behind Alba in this episode?

    Of course the real reason is that this episode was finished before that one was, but It's a pretty huge error, considering it takes place only seconds after this episode ends.

  • I've been an avid fan of the KOF series since '94 and I have to say, I'm quite disappointed at the way the franchise has evolved.

    The well-crafted storyline as well as the character quality that the previous games possessed -- and were known for -- had died when Soiree, Alba, Ash and the rest of the new guys had come into the picture.

  • That being said, the guys in charge of the KOF franchise today should scrap all the games after '02 as non-cannon and remake them all.

    As far as the KOF: AD anime is concerned, everything looks good. Had it taken place during the earlier games, it would've been better though.

  • Its more hyper-fighting now, which is completely the opposite of the traditional and the technical-based gameplay that the ORIGINAL series was known for. Nowadays, any idiot can just pick it up and play it. Back in the old days, you'd have to really study it in order to be an effective player.

  • Iori is actually Geese Howard in disguise. Geese was originally Terry Bogard's rival in the Fatal Fury series but somehow that was dismissed with the introduction of Kyo in the KOF franchise so Iori pretty much hates everyone as demonstrated in this episode.

  • lol Iori made his debut in KOF 1995, Kyo made his Debut in KOF 1994, the only connection that Iori and Geese have is that Iori has the Orochi power and Geese wants to have it and controll it, course then again so did Rugal and Rugal succeeded, and the Power destroyed him.

  • Iori Yagami is classified easiest as an antagonist. Kyo and Iori have a long-running blood feud. It's a long story, but simply put, Iori wants to kill Kyo. Kyo doesn't quite share the sentiment, but regardless of that, Iori believes Kyo's life is his to take. As such, anyone who threatens Kyo's life is instantly number one on Iori's shit list, because he's claimed Kyo as his target and his alone.

  • Iori still, without powers, manages to utterly decimate Soiree. Amusingly, you can watch his movements and tell when he would have lit someone up (namely, the car slam was his 212 Shiki: Kototsuki In attack). Honestly, I like this.
