Several people won it during the run, but typically, the players would win it with the first spin, since you had to change the jokers into another prize in the end game.
the trouble with including math questions in 'generic' quiz shows is that quite often the answers need to be unambiguous orelse they may lead to disputes. case in pt: a dodecahedron is a 12-sided SOLID (polyhedron). a 12-sided FIGURE (polygon) is a dodecagon.
another case in pt: the precise answer for the sq root of 9 is +/- 3. 3 is only half the answer.
Sony and CBS does own the rights to the show. They planned to revive it last year but it never happened. Too bad, it would've been a hit this time around.
I'm glad to see this, I enjoy this version. Is this the first episode with the format change? I might like a video copy of this on video...are you open to a trade?
Jack Berry would be rolling in his grave if he ever saw this JOKERS WILD version...why did they change the format to this piece of crap?

After his Stint on The Joker's Wild, Pat Finn went on to Bigger Success on Shop 'til you Drop.

Jon the Champion was on Scrabble with Chuck Woolery back in 1988 and picked up a jackpot of $10,000 on his second day.

At 9:38, does anybody know what a "dodecahedron" is??
CraigFoye80 3 years ago
It's a platonic soiid with edges of the same length
yolichka1 2 years ago
A 3-D 20-sided polygon. If it were 2-D, it would be a "dodecagon", if that's right. Anyone?
gameshowguy2000 2 years ago
@CraigFoye80 a twelve sided polygon.
JBTHREAT 2 years ago
@JBTHREAT A dodecagon.

This was one of my favorites on the old block of game shows they aired on USA Network called "Lucky Day."

I'd like this version on GSN.

If they let the Goodson-Todman rights lapse again, they probably will air this. On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure if Sony owns this.

G-T doesn't own this show, and I don't think Sony owns this version of the show.
gameshowguy2000 4 years ago
I never said G-T did!

I think Sony & CBS owns this version's rights.

i cant beleve that greg got all the jokers but he needs to do one job that is pick any catagory
dim432 4 years ago
Well, any category on the wheels. On this version, you couldn't go "off the board" like in the classic version.
gameshowguy2000 4 years ago
In the first question, the on screen graphic displayed "fade" instead of fad.
TonyDuMont 4 years ago
why is it so blurry?
Wheeloffortunefan999 4 years ago
because the tape is almost twenty years old, and the vcr I used is equally as old.

I saw a TV station logo after the commerical break ended and I was wondering what station did this episode air on?
Nickle98499 4 years ago
That can't be, because in this episode the Joker's Jackpot stands at $26,500 and in Jeff/Kathy/Jay the Jackpot is set to $28,500.
