This is probably one of my favorite songs by Jamey Johnson, along with "That Lonesome Song," "Can't Cash My Checks," and "That's Why I Write Songs." Truly magical stuff here. I'm feeling a sort of neotraditional country revival here — I mean, Jamey's prolly the only new outlaw-esque singer these days, but there seems to be other REAL country artists/bands, like Sonny Sweeney and Zac Brown Band. I didn't think this would ever happen again; I thought country music would forever remain pop-y crap.

@cowboyup993 they already do. Colt Ford's Waste Some Time says "listen to Jamey sing that Lonesome Song"...it might not be your kind of country, but his music is still respected throughout. I'm up in New Jersey and i have seen him in concert at my local radios concert so country is everywhere.
