All of yngwie's singers have been powerful note perfect singers and let those who can sing themselves and are not tone deaf make that judgement. His vocalists dont really fit his music in my opinion. You have gritty guitar sound with very raspy vocalists, it clashes. Maybe a female vocalist? A smoother, more rounded sound to contrast the music? Just a thought, lol.
I saw Yngwie on EVERY tour he did in this period, JSS was good for an irishman, but JLT was far better, much richer tone to his voice, live was way better than Bruce dicson of iron maiden or maybe even freddie.

That Yngwie is long gone. He can no longer play (let alone compose) like that. But he has earned his place of honor in the hall of fame of most innovative and influential guitar players ever.

Then I saw them later that year at the Beacon Theater with Talas including Billy Sheehan opening. That Beacon Theater show was one of the best concerts I have ever seen!!! It was just devastating...

Sounds great. Saw them live in San Fran 4 yrs ago. Awesome!
However, it wasn't anything to Dio or Joe Lynn Turner or Ian Gillan.
